I haven'y really seen any cheaper ones, but what you can do is bargain with the store. I bought my 3D TV from BestBuy and what I did was buy the TV and then bargain with the glasses. I got 4 for only $100 and they are the really good kind. If you only need 2, you can probably let them throw them in for free. Unfortunately, the TV will cost a lot. I got a Sony Bavia 55" for close to $2000. It ended up being $4000 since I also got a home theater system and BluRay shit too lol

Looks like passive circular polarized glasses that would mean the TV has some sort of selective polarizer that allows the left and right eye images to seen seperately , the nice thing is the glasses are very light weight and very low cost for this system it could be quite posable to use circular polarized cinema glasses as well the negitive is that the glasses block some light requiring a brighter image to compensate for it

I was well sceptical about these 3D tvs and thought would be a fad. Been using one for two days in store and ive got to see THIS IS GOING TO BE HUGE! Gaming, Sports, live concerts and "blue planet/ planet earth" look absolutely amazing. the 3D is much better than you see in Cinema, its a better technology. I would also say that Sony are well ahead of the game atm with these screens
