it's funny, everyone hates ford. They have new tq. and hp numbers, they have a new quiet engine, nothin short of its expectations, nice features exclusice to ford, wanna fill in the blanks?
FORD is for real men who tow 20,000 lbs of cattle or steel on a daily basis. Chevy, Dodge, and Toyota are for the boys who want to pull their lawnmower around for the day.
All trailer Sway does is slows the truck down. Now what person that tows at all would not slow down when the trailer starts to sway? Seems stupid to have this, are people really dumb enough to not figure to slow down when the trailer sways.
@Herps85 Let me ask this. How many times have you actually had a trailer attatched to your vehicle on a month to month or even year to year basis? If it's less than a few dozen, then your comment is useless. Trailer sway is both the side to side action of the trailer as well as the forward and aft. The TSC incorporates the brakes, engine, and gearing to control that when the sensors see the sway. Electronics are there to help you drive better, not drive for you.
@toyoracing89 During the race season I pull a 28ft enclosed trailer almost every weekend for sure. Many times during the week too. I also worked for a City Parks and pulled two $30,000 mowers every day. I know how to pull a trailer and what is nice to have and what is worthless.
@Herps85 The point of this system is not to have some jackass flying down the road with his trailer swinging about because he's a speed demon. It's there to helpb say when you're going down a grade and the trailer starts to move and there's no way for you to slow down because the 18 wheeler behind you and the soccer mom with her annoying brats in the left hand lane won't slow down or change lanes
@halosux4life FYI dodge hasn't renewed there contract with cummins yet..... There is talk on the FIAT page that the RAM trucks will be using a different diesel then a cummins. (Just a Rumor Though) But anyways this is also the last year for dodge's manual transmission's!
@Herps85 Actuall it is considered a jake brake because it used the valve train to slow the vehicle. where as a exhaust brake holds in exhaust separate from then engine
Go ford!!!

@FordNissanChevy No its got an exhaust brake, way different than a Jake. The Ram has had the exhaust brake since 2007 or 2008.
