  • The first concern is to ensure each message gets received. This requires sender and receiver agree on what each message is. I have seen training focused on speakers to state their message correctly. I have seen no focus on the listener. We should have no free license to interpret how we choose. The intended message is more important than the listener's interpretation.

I have experienced problems trying to correct misinterpretations.

Why don't schools tackle this problem?

  • I'm taking communication courses etc from an acredited university and I'm learning so much.- his language " this system" "our System" - it seems like he's trying to sell a program. Which is interesting since his delivery is a little shaky and the interupting blue screen is very distracting, and not very well blended with the video.

Also... when he talks about different personality tpes, it sounds like hes breaking people into neat little boxes, and thats not very plausable- ppl are complex.

  • good work great tips

  • Every time it seems like he's getting to an important point, it cuts out and skips forward.

  • thanks, this video is very helpful! (:

  • some of the personalities he mentioned such as being at the back of the scene and having difficult time to communicate either in group or person to person or being reserved.... I think is in me, and I'm been trying to unlock it... by working on it and by practicing to talk to people arround me with self confidence

  • You don't have a positive image of yourself if you have social anxiety.

  • ..soo make it more interesting!

  • i know your talking about communication but you should know that what ever you communicate has to sound interesting. cus when you talk its really boring. and you pause too much and talk about a "system"

  • @ericknjanet

it is interesting to smart people.

  • I like communication

  • @HigherPlanes

    I like communication too

I wish more people would be on the same track

Here a point I want to make:

I've learned that by following the bandwagon and listening to others only gets me in trouble. Now I do my own thing, and I'm more succesful than ever.

  • I study Communication skills curriculum in my first year in the university . It's easy and interesting .

  • kabo..no question about that..

  • Ever since i was a kid I thought i was the only soul in the planet that thought about that since my primary language isn't English.

  • Hey guys,

I am studying in a private University, and my communication skill is very poor in english. If any one of you have the best way to imrove my skill please be in touch with me and help me. because of this problem i lost so many jobs.
