I am so glad I found this, mine starting glowing like something out of Alice in Wonderland, all rainbow glow..but when connected to TV by HDMI, I can view on TV. I will try the fixes listed. Thanks
you must put it in oven for 8 minuts on 200 celcius its not a joke your graphics card is not very broken its a little bit broken my graphics cad whas tottaly broken that i can't see anything i have repaired it by putting in oven if you don't believe search on google you will see this method resolders parts back together
I fixed this my removing the frame from the LCD, pulling forward the LCD panel, then sticking my fingers in the back to make sure the cables are not loose and fitted.
@chaujun The LCD "ribbon" goes bad, something seemingly common from all these vids showing the same white screens, eBay has plenty of spare parts however

I replaced my LCD ribbon cable (eBAY!!!) and ever since it's been fantastic for me, hope you got the same solution working

The LCD ribbon cable has gotten loose. Disassemble the screen, and re-plug the ribbon cable.
If that doesn't help, replace the cable; it could be torn or shorted.
It is probably not the display itself.
