Because of well placed howitzer attacks early on, the Prince got him. Chunky, u did good. Figuring out how to deploy artillery is a difficult task, though. It would suit you to concern yourself with the center of the battlefield moreso. Once your line gets cut in two, it's a wrap. Good game.

@iEdit4Food I figured that may of been the case, but overall you did a great deal better then many starting players. Went up against a friend once on his first multiplayer game, he set up 3 elite units with their backs towards my cavalry and didn't even bother for a square formation before they were wiped out. It got worse from there, but I'm not one to speak, I ran through similar problems myself while learning the controls years back in E:TW.

@ArchossWigmore I personally have nothing against POM, but seriously, notice how chunky plays, he sits, doesn't really make any tactical moves that would count for anything. He is shooting his own men with his artillery, thats sort of sad lol. If you have common sense, you can do okay in strategy games. But what really counts is micro-managing and alertness. You have to have a sense of what is going on and what is happening to your army. If you can't do that, then you really dont have a chance

@ArchossWigmore From the POM videos I have watched so far from NTW and some of ETW, he has common sense. But if I were to honestly compare him to my clan mates and myself. I wouldn't say he'd do so so good. And also, taking a expensive Historical General for the major nations, really isn't the best idea. It is better to take more experienced troops, because they will win you the battle, your general can be killed easily, no matter his rank, so if he dies, you just wasted allot of money.

I played this game yesterday, it was HARD fight, France (me) vs Russia (cant remember hwo) i send my old guard in the fight, and move my cavalary to his unguarded artillery. The i heard news; Old Guard retrit..SAVE YOURSELF If you can! (My ally, it was 2vs2 battle =))

his errors didnt switch to canister shot when you were attacking his artillery up close nor move forward to attack that infantry attacking the artillery, his lines didnt go into a diamond formation when you attacked him with cavalry and he didnt deploy his artillery immediatly when the battle began and you were pulling up, if he did then he could have done some good damage

@948L0 You can never killed historical existed heroes, at least followed to the plot. Napoleon is venerable to attack, he appeared dead in game, but a message will indicate that he is wounded, after real time battle complete, he will not return action for two turns, then he have to be send form HQ to the front line again.

Losing General Staff(even Napoleon), will not make everyone route, but morale will be lowered, winning is possible if you are good.

@snakeeater08  Napoleon's a really awesome game, and it's not so bad if you start out on easy so that you can learn the ropes. Just make sure your computer can handle it, because it has some fairly steep graphics requirements.
