Guys check out my vid like this however does not use the mother board, whenever the motherboard is used or soldered it can cause interference, this can cause a component for the xbox not to work efficiently, on my vid the 3rd fan is linked to te power source of the other fans.

You shouldn't power the fans using the motherboard. This causes the motherboard to run hotter. Even though the heat sinks are cooler...the processing chips are hotter. Waste of money unless you power the extra fans through a wall jack or battery.

@xHubbcap Yes, I agree! There is a GPU Heatsink LED Fan Kit available that uses an AC Adaptor. Go to google and type in Airflow Cables for more info.

i have my fans modded for 12v, but i made a switch to toggle between the stock voltage to the modded voltage of 12v!

Has your xbox been banned from xbox live, because I completely unpluged my fans and converted them into I 12v wall plug-in on my old xbox and it was soon banned. So can u let me know how it has been for you for this fan mod.

Hello just wondering when you solider the positive in my case the red wire to the 12v source what do you do with the ground just not soldier it anywhere a lot of tutorials i read leave this part out it seems.

btw in referring to the pc fan not the xbox 360 stock one.

You can ground the wire to the metal case. That's what I did.

Or you could just get a 3-pin Case Fan 1 to 3 Y-Adapter Splitter Power Cable on ebay so you do not have to do all that welding
