  • Guys whats the real title of this song?....

if u know the answer please reply 2 this comment......

  • さくらんぼ. Which romanized is "Sakuranbo". Which translated into English is "Cherries/Cherry".

  • 大塚愛(Otsuka Ai)-さくらんぼ/Sakuranbo/櫻桃

  • what's HimawaRi さくらんぼ?

  • himawari is sunflower...sakuranbou is cherry

  • iei !!! fav

  • Sakuranbo was the first song of Ai that I listened to, in my first trip to Japan. From that moment I became Ai's Fan.

I love this version of Sakuranbo, it sounds... "nearer", than professionally recorded track.

    Thanks for uploading ^_^

  • "...writing her future hit "Always Together / Momo no Hanabira" for a friend at age 17. Too shy to perform by herself, Otsuka enlisted the help of several other friends and sang it as a chorus."..."Otsuka soon formed a group to perform her music, dubbing it HimawaRi. Boasting a rougher style than her present one, Otsuka and HimawaRi released "Sakuranbo" and several other tracks independently."

As I understand it, they had a falling out, and Ai signed with Avex and the rest is history :)

  • ai otsuka?

  • yes.

  • It is different.

Ai Ootsuka is made to have copied the song of these people.

  • Otsuka Ai was a member of that band. STOP GETTING YOUR FAIL ALL OVER MY YOUTUBE! ._.

  • you are kidding XD

She didn't copy it, she is the one who singing it in this version with HER FIREND. They both had a band~

  • Sakuranbo?? why does it say himawari?

  • Sakuranbo is song name.

    himawari is group name.

  • nice..any other himawari ones?

  • She is Mami Nishita(西田真美).

  • are you sure this is the original sakuranbo by himawari? :D

  • I think so.

  • yes former otsuka ai group

  • Hmm.. It cost much time me to find this record!

It seems that also another girl sings in this song.

  • wait wait wait... its ai otsuka not ai ootuka...

  • 'ai otsuka' is the common romanization, but 'ai ootsuka' or 'ai ootuka' are both actually more correct (but don't "read" well visually in English)

  • Excuse me, but the Sylabe "tu" does not exist in japanese, so Otsuka or Ootsuka it's the only posibility Isn't it?

  • There's multiple romanization systems for Japanese. The syllable pronounced "tsu" is written so for foreign learners, but when Japanese in Japan learn the romanization for Japanese, "tu" is what's most commonly taught. Look it up.

  • ai otsuka

  • otuka is a pre-war simplification that you still see occasionally. When typing Japanese input, the 's' is optional, so native speakers often leave it off when typing in English, too.

  • omg? they are all out of tune... but now ai improved a lot...

  • It is a song when she ran an amateur band.

  • what is this

  • She is Ai Ootuka.
