I attended this free gig on the Friday evening in Sefton Park and BC were fabulous - immediately went and bought their first album afterwards. The following night Nick Heywood of Haircut One Hundred played a free gig but abandoned it half way through after one of the many bottles hurled by a gang of nasty punks hit the guitar neck and cut his hand (so the announcer claimed). Didn't like HOH but NH was good enough to play for free and if the punks couldn't stand him they should have stayed away.
This man evolved over the years and got better and better. Too bad the rest of the world didn't. What a shame. If only he knew how he was loved. My heart still aches. What a beautiful man inside and out.
Missed Big Country this year, will not be missing them in 2012,back to my hometown of Liverpool,Stuart you will never be forgotten,so many good memories, lads you are fuckin legends to me!
A.K. This song brings me back to the many years of magic and beauty we shared. I miss u. But I'm glad u r my best friend. I hope u feel magic with who u with now. U deserve only goodness. Being with u made me a better person Thank you

First time I've seen this video, THANKYOU for posting, 1983 was truly Big Country at the very height of their powers. RIP Stuart, saw you live so many times, come up screaming.
this song reminds me of when i was born, 1984, i'm really going to try to play this song live somehow in 2011 like 30 years later but i think it's still a good song, i'll try to play it with some band, bring it on to these times.
