well since hes doing a southern style and karate comes from southern chinese systems, i guess kinda a little. Its most likely the screaming that you see all karate guys do on those ESPN tournaments, lol
no its not. It's southernstyle wushu wich short emphasised movements and to express more power by shouting. It looks cool to me.The image u have from wushu is northern styles with more fluently movements.

He is Sichuan wushu team member, Zhou Jing. Beijing's nanquan is not that good, in fact beijing wushu team is just another pro level team among all the others provincial pro teams in china that are as good or better than beijing.
yo you sure? I heard that this was zhou ke. I know they have similar styles and choregraphy, but zhou jing has never done that jump snap kick before nor does he do as much chain punching. agiht.
It's me filming, so I'm pretty sure I was training in chengdu then ;) when I first put this clip online I've mistaken the name and named the clip after "Zhou ke", but the right name is Zhou Jing, from Sichuan wushu team. Peace.
So wth happened to zhou ke? I heard he was some kind of 2002 champion. Didn't mean to step out of line :) Thanks for the clip. Talk to you soon.... oh did you see Li Fu Kui? He used to one of my favorites. Thanks!
mmm zhou ke and zhou jing is the same person as far as I know. Yes Li fu kui was training in chengdu, he is very good too, also Zhou Ling was very good nanquaner, she and zhou jing are retyred from competitions now and help coaching.
