Can't get it to work. I followed the instructions and the initial screen appears like in the video. But I can't enroll my face image, always get the same error: "acquiring information failure, you may need to reinstall Lenovo VeriFace recognition software". My laptop is a XPS m1530 on Vista 32bit

I figured out that to get it to work in Vista you have to use XP mode. Works nicely, but DONT use it to log on to Windows if you already use a fingerprint reader to do so..it get all messed up.

or just make sure you only use either one or the other for login on to Windows. You can find the Veriface software via torrent.

I found out that if you have Vista you just download the Veriface software right click the exe select properties, select the Compatabillity tab, select Windows XP/ cant remember if its a check the box on the drop down, then you will be able to install the Veriface software..but if you already use a fingerprint reader to log on to Windows everything will get screwed up so only use it if you dont use a fingerprint reader to log on to Windows when you boot up

Yes, if someone has a picture resembling how the person looks when they log in, then one may be able to log in when moving the picture.

Negative, this software sends signal that uses a matrix system thru a web cam that measures the folds of your face and records the prints into the system. Just like finger print feature works. It is a face recognition and not picture recognition!

I've Just download and installed it and did my face recognition, but when I try to connect to my account, the face recognition doesn't start so I have to type my password like normal. I paste the ''Main'' folder in c/program files... like the instrctions says. I don't know why it isnt working.I have a dell studio xps 13. thanks

Try to uninstall and install the fast access program again. Then make sure your web cam is set to on or enabled.
