This happened during a practice session. If you're completely off the pace and someone else behind you is being held up while trying to set a fast time themselves, you let them pass. It's an unwritten rule, the ethical thing to do. I don't watch IRL often, i'm more of a Formula One-fan, but in this case, Patrick has every right to be mad. And her looks are irrelevant in this discussion btw.
@CaboArmorKing if this is a pratice or they are setting times she should have come in to pits or backed off her lap time wouldn't have been good anyways. There is no excuse for Danica's behaviour.
Patrick actually did back off, but caught Duno again in no time, due to her slow pace.

If this was during the race, then no problems, but it isn't during the race. When you're slow and you hold up faster drivers during practice/qualifiying, you should either move over or get penalized.

One thing you cannot take away from Milka.....she is probably the smartest person on the the track. She qualified very well at the last Indy figuring out an alternate line around the track with limited seat time. If there is anyone that can find speed...it would be her. Plus Danica was giving all the drivers a hard time when this incident to place.....You could say Milka did not take take Danica's behavior when the male drivers could not react this way.
Danica might be slightly overrated (quite good on ovals, but mediocre on road circuits) but she definitely has her place in IRL, while Duno is ultra-slow and dangerous and shouldn't driving in such a competitive series. I totally support Danica in pointing this out. This incident was during qualifying (very different from the race) and there's no reason to block the faster driver unless you're a complete jerk. If Duno had done this in Formula 1 she would have been given a huge penalty or a ban.

This happened during a practice session. If you're completely off the pace and someone else behind you is being held up while trying to set a fast time themselves, you let them pass. It's an unwritten rule, the ethical thing to do. I don't watch IRL often, i'm more of a Formula One-fan, but in this case, Patrick has every right to be mad. And her looks are irrelevant in this discussion btw.

Patrick actually did back off, but caught Duno again in no time, due to her slow pace.
And why wasn't her lap time any good again? Oh yeah, because Duno was blocking Patrick with her slow driving.
If this was during the race, then no problems, but it isn't during the race. When you're slow and you hold up faster drivers during practice/qualifiying, you should either move over or get penalized.
And Duno obviously was too slow.

The argument is she was wrong to go over there. It is not her job to start fights with other drivers. She works with a team and it is the teams job to file disputes not the drivers. That is the problem. Deal with it since you have little knowledge except for being a fanboy. Her team isn't Danica Patrick Racing. If you think she went over there to be polite then you are watching a different video. She went over there with an attitude and got shot down. She is the one who is out of line.

One thing you cannot take away from Milka.....she is probably the smartest person on the the track. She qualified very well at the last Indy figuring out an alternate line around the track with limited seat time. If there is anyone that can find speed...it would be her. Plus Danica was giving all the drivers a hard time when this incident to place.....You could say Milka did not take take Danica's behavior when the male drivers could not react this way.

Danica might be slightly overrated (quite good on ovals, but mediocre on road circuits) but she definitely has her place in IRL, while Duno is ultra-slow and dangerous and shouldn't driving in such a competitive series. I totally support Danica in pointing this out. This incident was during qualifying (very different from the race) and there's no reason to block the faster driver unless you're a complete jerk. If Duno had done this in Formula 1 she would have been given a huge penalty or a ban.
