A lot of artists are actually very sensitive to things like that. Not everybody can be like, 'this is me so fuck all 'yall!' Hating is rarely good. It would hurt me to think that anybody hated me, even if I dislike them and what they are all about. Disregarding hate isn't and shouldn't be easy, unless you're a psychopath.
