  • R:"How they gonna know I'm a hurricane?" A:"Just open your mouth!"Alice's zingers never get old.

  • If he TELLS her to do something???? I HATE the way he treats her in the very beginning here.

  • @kris39100 It's a TV show.

  • Ralph is mean in this episode! Giving orders and acting demanding towards her.

There's something I noticed: Ralph and Alice don't wear wedding rings, but Ed & Trixie do!

  • LMAO!!! Good Gosh!!!

  • I love how Ralph looks at Alice @ 3:37-3:51!!! LMAO!!!

  • alice is a real hottie. Do they still make those somewhere? Please send address and photo

  • @bryncomeaux Women like that have been extinct since the mid-60's

  • If they invent a time machine, I wanna go back to the 50s and sit in the audience for all the classic 39. All Masterpieces of comedy, thanks so much for uploading

  • Genius writing and genius acting. Nobody in Hollywood can do this today.

  • wasn't ralph was on the raccoons?

what a great piece. when alice talks about "modern conveniences" one has to remember when washing clothes took all day. or even longer with a big family. they sewed socks and made their own clothes. everything was made from scratch in the kitchen, no fast food or microwaves. no prepackaged meals. their parents were lucky to have electricity, phones, and bathrooms could be communal etc.

maids were quite common until modern appliances came along.

  • @tomitstube The Raccoons was his lodge. Remember the raccoon hats him and Norton wore with their uniforms?

  • Spectacular performance by Audrey Meadows here!

  • She didn't open her mouth to say anything to the man when he walked in the door. lolol

  • @Digitalbumpin - watch a few and you will see is exterior is a facade built up by his many failings and shortcomings, and that deep down he is a loveable person.

  • Good gosh. hahaha

  • good old days when guys wore hats and smoked cigars

  • @kruppenstein The hat part is good. But cigars, uh no. Cigars are for men who have a fetish for sucking on poles.

  • @Digitalbumpin Obviously you weren't around in the 50s. He was the model for Fred Flintstone, Archie Bunker and every other loudmouth character on tv. He was loyal and loving as well as a loud bossy man.

  • classic show...thanks!!
