I wouldn't put any significance to it. I don't think they really listen to the lyrics when choosing a song. I remember I was cackling like mad when they played Lilly Allen's Not Fair when Judith talked about her night with Constantin but I very much doubt that they meant it like that.

Okay....after watching this episode numerous times and painfully scrutinizing the eye blinks, body language and verbal encounters....I just don't see Christian falling for R. He doesn't react to the "leech like" hug she threw on him in any sort of romantic fashion, but more in a "Mein Gott what is this chick doing!!" I still think he sees her like a little sister, someone who needs help. Maybe it's because he had such a hard time growing up that he wants to help her. Delusional....maybe!

Rebecca is SO falling for Christian ... but Olli made sure he laid claim to his territory at the end. Christian is just being nice because he feels sorry for the pathetic creature that is Rebecca. But he's going to have a sticky situation prying her loose from him.  Knowing her, she'll try to get him fired when he sets her straight. Definitely a cheap knock-off version of Olivia. They need to fix her up with Eduard - two who deserve each other.

can anyone tell me what time this airs in Germany?our main soap EastEnders in England has a gay love storyline but you barely see them touch because it on 7.30 pm, before the 9pm watershed-so much for this being 2009!However, the storyline keeps you hooked between Christian and Syed, whereas it is the tender moments between Oli and Christian that keeps you watching this although their storylines have been rubbish recently

thanks for info- it is official then, we in the U.K are behind the times to our European friends- while the storyline of Christian and Syed in Eastenders is sooooooooooo intense,you can count the times on one hand that they have actually touched in the months they have been a couple, whereas whether Chrolli have a storyline or not they still show affection

I can't work out where this is going or what I'm supposed to be watching here. Basically I just feel uncomfortable. Chrolli are less huggy/kissy - foreshadowing turbulent times ahead? Also the friendship bw Chrebecca is too forced. I don't feel the connection whether that be that Christian is meant to be falling in love or if Rebecca is meant to be in love and not have the feelings returned. It just seems to be a really long SL being set up if nothing happens.

OK...after watching this episode about 20 times and painfully observing every smile, blink of eye, body movement and verbal encounter...I am still convinced that Christian did not respond to the "leech like" hug Rebecca threw on him in an "Ich liebe dich" fashion, but more in a "WTF" fashion. Rebecca may very well be making the slide into Chrissie-Baby Crushville, but I believe that Christian still very much loves and is, in love, with Olli.

Actually I think this episode maybe is a sign of hope... and maybe marks the turning point from the writers recognising this whole storyline is regarded crap from all of us...

We've seen Rebecca still leaning on Chris, but VERY obviously he's not comfortable with it, and still only has eyes for Olli.:)

We all should not forget these scenes have been recorded at least 2 months ago, so it takes some time for the writers to react at people's reactions.

2010 can only get better...:)

It seems the moment any man offers rebecca some help and shows her some compassion she gets a crush on them. She kissed olli who was just being kind to her and now she has a crush on christian. I can just feel it, she's going to kiss him. I just hope christian does not reciprocate the kiss. Why can't she just leave them be? I just want a better storline than this!!!
