the retribution spec is already nerfed to shit. ret's cannot keep up with other classes with the same tier gear. assuming they spec, and rotation for maximum dps, they still just can't come close. the reason is Blizzard just hates paladins dpsing.. yet they give you the option and wait for you to hit 80 to realize it, and laugh as you are forced to respec or reroll and waste more time and money.

lol guy, a 80 Ret in full wrath speced DPS has maybe 29k hp and no defense. If he speced 18 in prot his DPS is light. The former Pally can count to 5 before Corruption kills him, the latter can count to 6...maybe 7.

Ret pally is a mage with an axe. Glass cannon. Hell they cant even lay hands in arena, while the tree can run around like a lunatic healing the planet. Be serious.

All the druid forms are getting a deep coodown btw, which is LOLMFAO.

divine storm is BETTER. yes it's only 75% weapon damage but it hits ALL targets in range. We get an additional range attack which can insta heal, Holy Shock. We also get acces to some of the juicier talents from Holy and Prot which were moved to tier 1-2 from 6-7.

Ret will feel about the same, do more pve dps, several new utilities, heal a little better, and if specd...perform superior vs single foes. For you pvpers.

The beasts will be Prot...fear those monsters.

Just fyi, when you hit 85 in full quest green/blues you'll have (as a holy priest) 90k+ health, and 70k+ mana. So, you can extrapolate that to other classes.
