@BunsterByne Easy. Just use a good concordance like Strongs and look up the word in question. In this case it is the Hebrew word 'mot' H4131 in his concordance. You can access this on the internet. God loves the righteous and they won't be removed from existance. You do realize the Bible says God will destroy the Earth ... do you expect Him to destroy those He loves by leaving them on the Earth when this happens?

It's believed that he was apart of a group of Jews who believed the world was about to end and who preached the apocalypse. Not long after, there was a war between the Romans and the Jews and they all thought it was the end of days and they thought God was going to be on their side and give them Rome as the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth. They lost. It didn't happen. It's never going to happen.

After his death, things pass by word of mouth by just a couple of individuals who pass it onto their followers, who then pass it onto THEIR followers, and so on until someone decides to start writing down what they think Jesus might have said or stood for decades after he died.

The rapture is a ridiculous theory. Even at my ultra conservative church where I grew up, we considered it false, so I don't want to imagine the crazy people who believe in the Rapture. One of the flaws behind it is that after it occurs, the people left behind will probably convert to Christianity en masse. Think about it. People vanishing into thin air won't go unnoticed, and they'll figure out soon what happened. Contrary to popular belief, most people do know what Christianity is.

It is mostly confined to babtists,pentacostal-chrismatics, and even amoungst them their is many differing and divergent views.those who hold beliefe in a rapture you'll find are the more extreme members of the christian faith. you'll find they are extreme in all views,interpretations,actions, on everything from demon chashing to speaking in toungs. they often ended up in jonestown settings.
