  • goosebumps every time! that must have been painful for Alan Green

  • ohh teddy teddy , teddy teddy teddy teddy teddy teddy sheringham

  • I was having a shit when this happened. I had the tv up loud so I could hear, and when the final goal went in, I was jumping about the bathroom with my pants down, and shit hangin from me arse!

  • @kustinbustin Snap! Same thing happened me when Robben scored that wonder goal at the theatre of wet dreams last year.Bayern were 3-0 down, looked down and out but Robben's goal sent the TYPICAL GERMANS through and knocked man u/fa out of Europe! Just great, and what a coincidence that it happened to the both of us,phew!By the way how many times did you wipe your arse after?Amen.

  • @zzzaaa0990 Only 6 times actually.

  • @kustinbustin Is that all Skidmark?.Amen.

  • @zzzaaa0990 Aye. Amen.

  • The difference between 99 and 2005 is that we won the F.A cup and Premier league aswell something you still haven't done!! liverpools greatest achievement every year is beating united at Anfield!!..

  • its great how that trophy is in the Liverpools cabinet :)

  • goosebumps

  • and then 2005 came along LMFAO

  • Giggs shoots ....... over Imogen

  • I was there man pissed and happy as a pig in shit amazing shit an

  • The baby faced assasin...what a fucking beast

  • alan green...what a cock

  • When are Liverpool fans going to accept that their comeback was nowhere near as special as this.

Liverpool scored 3 goals in the second half against an arrogant and complacent group of players who thought the game was over at half time.

The comeback was completed by a debatable challenge in the box on Stevie me, then the game was won in the lottery draw that is a penalty shootout.

United went into the game without Keane (the captain) and Scholes (need I say more) who both formed the most formid

  • @glenscakes United would NEVER come back from 3-0 down in a european cup final we did! as for you sayin the shootout was 'lucky' it takes nerve to take penalties in a match like that.

  • @glenscakes 3 goals in 6 minutes mate, i know you're obviously jealous but don't let it get to your head we all know 2005 was better than 99 ask any neutral,

  • One the best parts of my childhood was @ my dads watching this, bloody hell we went mental xD

  • i bet alan greene had nightmares that night. fat twat

  • God, he hates United as well. TWAT!

  • Totally goosebumps.:o

  • Pity these days Alan Green is a bitter obnoxious pillock who tries too hard to be controversial and find something to complain about than just call a f##king football match.

  • This will never beat ISTANBUL...... WE WON IT 5 TIMES *****

  • @Flynno82 - and how many times did you actually witness those 5 triumphs? bet you only witnessed one.

  • MANCHESTER'S HIT THEM!!!

  • @Jeansey123 people at work, people abroad, people in the armed forces, people without tv, people in cars, the blind...........

  • @whitepanther84 just saying nothing beats Clive Tyldsley's commentary on this match, on ITV

  • @whitepanther84 hahahah nice reply dude!!!!! "the blind" hahahah

  • @whitepanther84 Indeed! I was still delivering my last pizza for the night when Bayern scored. Heard all of it in the car, then proceeded to the pub at light speed.

  • @Jeansey123 you fucking retard, next time think before you make a comment!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @idris999 im merely saying please watch the video with the itv commentary by Clive Tyldsley. 20 million + were watching on itv that night, so that video gives a far more accurate description of how the nation felt that night about this so marvellous comeback.

Just type in champions league final 1999. Its got 1 million + views.

  • @Jeansey123 I'am!

  • Great commentary....total drama....special moment for English football :-D

  • I still dream of that night! Glory United!

  • @whitepanther84 they didn't the commentator says he doesn't believe it (what just hapend) but it has happened (like the impossible has happened kinda thing).

  • @skullzalliances no it wasn't that, wen i first put the vid up it cut out some of the audio, fixed now tho

  • @whitepanther84 ohhh okay sry 'bout that :)

    GGMU LUHG

  • im twelve years old when i saw this...

  • Great to hear Alan Greens version. Over 11 years ago already! One of those where were you moments. In a bar in Toronto jumping around like a crazy person!

  • Chelsea for league, barcelona champions league man u might win mickey mouse cup sunday you welcome to that joke cup... city till i die!!

  • @citymadrob Yeah, we beat you to win that mickey mouse cup, remember?

  • goosebumps

  • The greatest ever Uefa Champions League Final !!! Fullstop.

  • Too true. Fuck the scousers and their Istanbul 2005, nothing and I mean NOTHING can beat this final for dramatics!!

  • @mufcgal01 3-0 down at half time in Istanbul against one of the best teams in the world and Liverpool come back and actually win!!!

I think a comeback from 3-0 down to 3-3 is better than 2 quick late goals mate!

  • Overall, the 2005 final was better. More goals and Liverpool's comeback made for great viewing I have to say. I ain't just a United fan, I'm a FOOTBALL fan and I found the whole thing incredible to watch, but those final 3 minutes of the final in 1999 were the most dramatic in European Cup history. Pretty much everybody will say the same as me. Liverpool had the whole 2nd half when they started their comeback. We did our comeback in 2 minutes, that won't be topped.

  • @kingelnino9 well am a liverpool fan

& ofc 2005 cup final for me was better than 1999 and its absolutely unforgettable

But I gotta say scoring 2 late goals at that time was absolutely incredible " all within a min or 2 "

  • @MattyzMUFC How's that?

Man Utd were outplayed and grabbed two late goals.

Try being 3-0 down to a brilliant Milan side and actually coming back and winning.

  • @kingelnino9 I was in the Nou Camp that night and I always admit that we were lucky (the equilizer was mis-hit twice) but it didn't matter in the end coz it was the most dramatic finish ever. Liverpool were completely outclassed by Milan and won in 8 fluky minutes. It was men against boys-a total travesty of justice.

  • @widlad7 won in 8 flukey minutes?? none of our goals were flukes unlike your 1st one in the 1999 final

  • @widlad7 We were out classed for 45 minutes. From the rest of the game we deserved to get something out of it. We scored 3 good goals. If Gerrard hadnt been tripped by Gatusso then it would have finished off a flowing move which would have been fitting for the comeback.

The 99 final on the other hand. THAT WAS A TRAVESTY you moron. Bayern dominated from start to finish and even hit the bar a couple of times.

Jesus, even 2008 was a fucking fluke. Watching Barcelona crush the scum was a dream.

  • @riazomonero silly boy

  • @riazomonero 99 was amazing coz something like this had never been seen. sure 05 was amazing but not as dramatic. man u needed to win that game to win the treble and in doing so helped get that step closer to knock liverpool off the top of their perch

  • goosebumps

  • WOW

    glory glory man united

  • HAHA WHAT A FEELING !!! :D

  • imagine the heartbreak of a bayern fan listing to this back then!

  • "but its happened, they've come from 1-0 in stoppage time to beating bayern munich 2-1... they dont know whats hit them... manchesters hit them" - thats what it says after ive heard it before

  • TBH it was amazing!

  • Come on united!!!thank you for this beatiful game since many years all simply the best team evaa!!!!

  • goosebumps

  • This was the greatest night of my life.

  • i was on cloud9 for days when this happend , fergie said it all really " football , bloody hell "

  • @crystaltipps04

I still remember this. Absolutely incredible. God, how I hate Bayern :)

  • @crystaltipps04 you can say that again

  • @crystaltipps04 Me too, pure ecstacy!!

  • @crystaltipps04 i don't remember much from after the game..

  • lol what sort of manchester united fan would watch this on the radio? thats why its rare, everyone was watching it on tv.

  • only a non United Fan will say something like that!

  • Oh cmon everyone knows that

  • Alan Green is actually a Liverpool fan. He's obviously pretty professional, because this only came out last year.

  • Haha, Green a Man United fan.

He has been photograhed at Anfield cheereing when Liverpool score.

Him and Fergason have publically announced they dont like each other.

    He is 100& Liverpool fan.

  • tht mtch was unbelievable dam i was crazy tht day come on u reds

  • alan green can gener8 some amazing enrthusiasm...

  • that match was fuckin' legendary. I couldn't believe what happened as i was counting down stoppage time. That match defined football in its finest glory to me.

  • and i cannot bilieve it how manchster wons i think Enis luck helped them.

  • Great upload i'd never heard that before

  • Haha..so true.

    Alan Green top man.

  • Brings tears to my eyes!!

  • Love them or hate them, It doesn´t matter who you support, you have to give Manchester Utd a standing ovation for their stunning achievements. But most of all it would not have happened if it were not for the rightly titled "SIR" Alex Fergusson.

  • oh my god!

    the goosebumps!

I cant remember this commentators name but he is legand - i listen to his commentaries all the time on bbc radio 5 live!

  • its alan green

  • I get goosebumps everytime I watch it and what do you know I get goosebumps listening to it aswell!

  • Have you got the main bits from the 2008 Champions league final?

  • beautiful win. Solskjaer was amazin in his prime
