I have epilepsy. It is so sad watching this. I am just glad I can not feel anything while I have seizures. It only hurts when I wake up. I also think I am having seizures while I am sleeping too. My mattress is always moving. I hope I don't die from it.

this actually hapened in my school i was only a couple inches away from the dude that had it like 4-8 inches i saw him get to his seat and then he fell and starting shaking just like the kid in the video

@pentax2508 I had epilepsy as a kid. I had seizures while awake. The Petit Mal seizure I had while watching TV is what lead to my parents taking me to the doctor.
@TheWiggler1234 Marijuana works well for seizures. But for best effect it needs to be taking right as you feel the seizure coming on. So I am not sure how effective it would be to give to kids.
@purplemutantas no, and those medicines have to damage kids as well. I don't epilepsy, just like the same things in something else. My friends did growing up, and they were more or less like bizarre and random. It just happened. Does it damage them? I don't recall it doing so forever. just pose like a physical threat? no strobe lights.

I have Myoclonic Epilepsy... My left arm/neck jerks a lot (sometimes I hit people near me) and I get the hiccups like 8 times a day (seriously). I've only ever had 2 *major* seizures, and I hope to never get one again. What really sucks is when people don't know about it, and I'll get the hiccups, and I have complete strangers trying to scare me out of them... wow, what an embarrassment!

Epilepsy really isn't something funny. I have a slight form of it,called Juvenile myoclonic and my friends get scared to death when they see me having an attack. At least they know what to do when that happens...but it's really sad... And to correct foff4321...It's actually 8% of the worlds population who have epilepsy and not 1 out of a 100.
my brother have epilepsy, some people lose their life when they get this attack, my brother have now lots of physical issues because sometime when he collaspe he hit head or shoulder on sharp objects....my sympythy goes for everyone out there.... GOD BLESS THEM

I've done it several times, in the street, at work etc. Look, learn, understand. One in 200 people have it. One day, you might have to help an epileptic. Do you have ANY idea what to do?

I am epileptic. Large salt intake for some reason triggers of epileptic fits. That young kid in the video reminded me of how exhausted one gets after having a seizure. I take tegratol carbamezapine.
I'l let you in on a secret, When you have a fit (mild) and your brain hits overload with thoughts, try to remember what you where thinking about during the fit. It is very hard but try.
You can come up with inventions and all sorts of deep thought.

xAlecx007x, if this is the only time you have experienced this, you don't have epilepsy. You have to have had at least 2 seizures before you can be diagnosed with epilepsy. What you have experienced could be a photomyoclonic response - jerks because the glimpses of light makes the muscles around the eyes tense. But as always: IF you are doubtful about having some kind of disorder: See a physician ...
i have had 2 grand mals in my life and they are scary as hell. All i remember is seeing two paramedics coming in and the people in the restaurant pointing at me, its so confusing and i think that the people making fun of these people need to grow up.

People often get very tired after seizing... my aunt, and nieces have epilepsy. Esp. for my nieces who are young, it can take a couple days for them to kind of return to their normal "state." Meaning not be tired/sleepy.
A few years ago, two parents went out for dinner. A few hours later, the babysitter was calling to ask if she could cover up the clown statue in the kids' room, the father said,"Take the kids and get out of the house. We'll call the police, we don't have a clown statue." The "clown statue" is really a killer that escaped from jail. If you don't post this letter on to 10 videos tonight, the clown will be in your bed at 3:00 am with a chainsaw in his hand
Whenever I come out of a seizure, I have a deja vu feeling. Its weird. I feel like I am experiencing my first seizure all over again. Also, for those who don't have epilepsy, imagine being in the shower and feeling dizzy and then the next thing you know, you wake up somewhere else feeling disoriented. You can't feel your tongue because you bit it so hard. The next day is when the pain on your tongue starts to kick in.
when i get seizures i get dizzy and hot beforehand and then just pass out. you wake up somewhere else on the floor with ppl around you but you can only hear sounds and everything is blurry. i cry hardcore afterwards and you cant stop. yea i dont shit or pee either thank god. i do grind my teeth causing my teeth to have some chips and lines on them. ppl who dont have them are incredibly lucky. hope that helps "Rankle14" much love

i have epilepsy,but i have the little black out seizures(petit mals) of a day and sometimes at night i have the big fits(grand mals) once i was rushed in to hospital be cause i had two grand mal seizures one after the other.

Epilepsy really isn't something funny. I have a slight form of it,called Juvenile myoclonic and my friends get scared to death when they see me having an attack. At least they know what to do when that happens...but it's really sad... And to correct foff4321...It's actually 8% of the worlds population who have epilepsy and not 1 out of a 100.

Example: My aunt was a waitress and she got spilespsy after being scared almost to death when two guys fough in the bar.

my brother have epilepsy, some people lose their life when they get this attack, my brother have now lots of physical issues because sometime when he collaspe he hit head or shoulder on sharp objects....my sympythy goes for everyone out there.... GOD BLESS THEM

Such a lot of rubbish comments here ... particularly about the young girl and about it being too graphic. Why is having a seizure graphic? I've done it several times, in the street, at work etc. Look, learn, understand. One in 200 people have it. One day, you might have to help an epileptic. Do you have ANY idea what to do?

I am epileptic. Large salt intake for some reason triggers of epileptic fits. That young kid in the video reminded me of how exhausted one gets after having a seizure. I take tegratol carbamezapine.
I'l let you in on a secret, When you have a fit (mild) and your brain hits overload with thoughts, try to remember what you where thinking about during the fit. It is very hard but try.
You can come up with inventions and all sorts of deep thought.

my daughter courtney porch was diagnosed with complex partial seizures, its so misunderstood. nj schools handle this much better than ocala fl. shadyhill elem. , my soon to be ex. courtneys father would scream she was faking, teachers from ocala fl. are very uneducated in this area, I gave the school printouts on the epilepsy foundation, they still, ignore me! bridget porch , please give some feedback

trust me, you don't have epilepsy. If you did, you would know. I have that a lot. Haha. Nothing to be worried about. Your parents would also know if you had epilepsy. Some people have seizures and they don't even have epilepsy. I had a seizure from DDR once, painful!!!! But I don't have epilepsy. Trust me. Nothing to worry about.

xAlecx007x, if this is the only time you have experienced this, you don't have epilepsy. You have to have had at least 2 seizures before you can be diagnosed with epilepsy. What you have experienced could be a photomyoclonic response - jerks because the glimpses of light makes the muscles around the eyes tense. But as always: IF you are doubtful about having some kind of disorder: See a physician ...

People often get very tired after seizing... my aunt, and nieces have epilepsy. Esp. for my nieces who are young, it can take a couple days for them to kind of return to their normal "state." Meaning not be tired/sleepy.

Whenever I come out of a seizure, I have a deja vu feeling. Its weird. I feel like I am experiencing my first seizure all over again. Also, for those who don't have epilepsy, imagine being in the shower and feeling dizzy and then the next thing you know, you wake up somewhere else feeling disoriented. You can't feel your tongue because you bit it so hard. The next day is when the pain on your tongue starts to kick in.

when i get seizures i get dizzy and hot beforehand and then just pass out. you wake up somewhere else on the floor with ppl around you but you can only hear sounds and everything is blurry. i cry hardcore afterwards and you cant stop. yea i dont shit or pee either thank god. i do grind my teeth causing my teeth to have some chips and lines on them. ppl who dont have them are incredibly lucky. hope that helps "Rankle14" much love

epilepsy is real, and it is real scary especially when you dont know that it is epilepsy that you have. Imagin growing up not knowing what it is because it is a non-tonic clonic seizure..its scary
