Season 5 is the best BY FAR... Bauer's back and reloaded kicking ass since hour 1 and it's him against everybody else... Pure action when Bauer faces some of the best villains in the entire series... Bierko, Henderson, The President, etc...

I still think season 1 is the best, simply because it started it all off.

I thought season 6 was good, particularly the ending - you really felt for Jack, as you realised he could never have a normal life.

I thought season 7 was okay, but the last quarter of it wasn't very good. The whole Jack becoming infected scenario was a bit pointless because you knew the minute that stem cell experiment was mentioned that Kim would eventually go through with it.

I've got a good feeling for season 8.
