thanks for sharing thoughts. i had a rigorous religious upbringing and studied bible intensively. a large section of the christian community believes book of daniel to be a prophesy about "end times". observation: quote of christ from book of matthew describes "birthing pains". birth is a beginning not an end. it's the end of one thing, but that thing is only a means to an end. the bible doesn't predict an end to the world, it predicts the beginning of a new era in which christ will govern.

Just do a little basic homework on who wrote the "bible" and how those books were compiled - you will no longer be a Christian. Just shows how selective people can be with their belief systems - not a single Christian agrees with each other, or with their scriptures. No god would ever confuse his people with beliefs...he would give them knowledge.
