The programme is designed to shrink an existing DVD down to size that you can put onto a blank disk that you buy at a shop. I think that is what you are asking. What is a DT?

I do full disc back ups with no compression, quality is great n i have menu function..everything. But the audio is a lil out of sync and this happens with every movie. I can fix this with shrink by editing the start time of the video, but when you reauthor with shrink you lose the menu functionality. Someone smart plz help

GI Joe cannot be burned b/c it has dozens of MAIN titles. Dragging one over wouldn't work b/c it doesn't represent the entire movie like it usually does. You will have to watch the movie first and then connect all the pieces together to make a movie.

@101niknak101 Try creating a dual boot system with linux ubuntu. There are many free programs that decrypt and rip at the same time for free on ubuntu.

k9copy is one that works well or ogmrip.

I Use the same thing, its so easy. but you need nero to use it properly. and i have dvd43 so i dont get stuff from the dvds, like viruis or wrong things into the black dvd-r.

If you mean a dvd that you can record obver again then yes, all rerecordable cd's or dvd's are affected by use. However a one use blak dvd will play back fine.

If it is to big even after shrinking you could try deleting some of the unwanted material ie. intos and special directors cuts and the like.

Otherwise try the photo copier.

Is there any way to get around CRC errors using dvd shrink? I've tried everything!!!

I have removed most of the scratches using

various methods, and I still get the CRC

error. I've tried the toothpaste, furniture

polish, and some very odd methods from you- tube videos such as peanut butter and also mayonnaise. The disc that I'm trying to do

is episodic (season set of different episodes) so copying just the movie is not

an option that i have.

If you are trying to break into some DVD's they are now using other types of locks that DVD shrink can't open.

There is one out there that you can use but I don't know what it is.

god what r u on you period cal down...what you do is create a new folder on desktop called the name of the movie ex. Family guy and set output files to that folder. when it says encoding go do something creative instead of sitting your ass in front of the computer...next after that is done copy the 2 folders into your burning software and press burn...

When it is encoding the window should give you a time it will take to encode eg 10mins or so.

After that has happened the computer will ask you to insert a blank disc. It takes some computers 1.5 hours to copy a disk but if you want to do this a lot get a faster computer or some games you enjoy playing while you wait.

You do need nero to complete the process.

What error message does it give you? Chances are if it is a newer DVD it is copyright protected to prevent anyone from burning it and selling it for profit.

Some of the new movies that are coming out now have security on them that can't be decripted by DVD shrink. You can get software that does this but I don't know what it is.

I don't know about blue ray. just sting ray and sugar ray.

Yes

It shrinks them down by taking out a few frame per second. The DVD's have about 48 frames per second you can take out about ten of them before the human eye can even pick it up. All these HD buffins must have bionic eyes to pick up the difference.
