  • Killer video.

  • Love it.

  • Really great playing and the video is really cool. Great old photo of John with a uke, never saw that one.

  • wow awesome

  • Fantastic arrangement Thom and stunning video too! 5*s Good luck with the competition

  • Really cool. What's that blue/red effect used around the one minute mark?

  • That's my hand pushing up faders all tweeked and distorted in iMovie. Sorry, I did get a bit carried away...

  • Not at all. I'm just wondering how to replicate it. I have iMovie '08 and I've never seen anything like that.

  • This is the old iMovie HD. I think the effect was a combo of the outliner and distortion on the red part, then I changed the colors up. This was all done so quickly I would have trouble duplicating a lot of it, because I didn't take notes, but most are combos of video effects.

  • Awesome! Good luck.

  • Wow! This is too cool. I'd love to hear how you did it.

  • Thanks! The strings and a couple other sounds are from an old Korg 01W. The bass, drums, steel drums and, of course, uke, are real. All were recorded in ProTools. The lead uke is processed thru an amp simulator with a bit of crunch. The video was done in iMovie, stacking effects in most cases.

  • Thanks!

  • Awesome! Good luck with the contest!

  • Amazingly good! This should win!

  • Fantastic visuals equaled only by the unique instrumentation.
