WOW!!! That really was an excellent performance. Bravo!!! Nice fluid moves, and good recovery. Great to see you kept in step with the music. I am sorry to hear that you were injuried.
loved it! your movements looked so fluid and natural for you to do. sorry to hear you aren't dancing anymore. fortunately, you seem quite talented in other areas as well! keep up the good work! =)
le short hair? hehee... such a lovely dance set to such gorgeous music. muah! xox how unfortunate to have been injured after this. i would have liked to see you dance more!
Hello? The magic turn at 00:26 has a name that I have read about, and I can do it with one arm and torso for the rotation, but is that how you do it? Any explanation of the mechanics will be appreciated, thank you.
And, did you heal and get back to work -- we hope!
thanx for sticking up for me sweetheart :) unfortunately I did not heal... but am singing now... which is also fun! That would be a SWIVEL. Technique: practice it as a promenade. Take it one inch at a time. Do this alot and the problem should solve itself. Practice all turns as promenades and no turn should elude you! xxx
I wish I could see more spins and better jumps, but great footwork, you are very good. I dance, I'm 16. Could you look at my video and comment (say whatever you want, I just want an honest opinion) I've never had any training so I'd like to get some critique from someone as great as you!
"never had any training" or you would know to disdain "spins" which are not controlled: dancers better not spin! And you are asking a professional, who paid years for training, for free lessons? There are proper, and profane, words for that, too.
Besides, the turn at 00:21 is stunning, followed at 00:26 by impossible magic without visible motive force, amazing! Two compass turns, a tippitoe, a pirouette, compass, 180 jete', 720 piro--"more spins"? Lessons would teach you to see, too.
A great loss to the dance world. You have beautiful form. This happened to me too, fortunately a bit later in my career. Scar tissue is shorter. Ultrasound may help.
you are wonderful. your lunges and please are very controlled. your hi[ps can stay more square than mine can annd i was born with a natural turn out haha.! well done i love this peice. only one thing to improve on. with you turns [especially pirroutes] make sure to find your centre control your body and arms.. you have wonderful leggs.. they will get you a along way. dont forget about your wweeknesses though I LOVE THIS
Hi I'm David. I'm 20 years old Ballet Dancer and I can say you that you are very good you dance with spirit this is important in Ballet. because Ballet is Spirit.
what do you mean you cant dance!!! looks wonderful to me. You now have what many don't...the ability to move from your heart.... Nothing worse than a technically cold performance in my book. Give me heart any time.
I second the comment on the hands. I have always envied the movement of beautiful hands, as mine are severely lacking. Just to watch the way you move is touching.
That's sweet! You can get good by watching videos of the Paris Opera as much as u can. And read the balanchine technique book. I trained at Royal Ballet School but studied with as many teachers as I could and took the best from all of them.
the video kept pausing, spoiling the continuity, but what I saw was delightful and I love the music. keep dancing! someday we'll see your name on a marquee!
ooooh, can't dance anymore - boohoo - this is all you will see of me classically, I'm afraid :( ps to watch videos properly, let the download finish first (on silent), then come back to watch! WHat this means is the memory on your computer may be reaching its limit...
Guy! A big well done!

It's a shame that you couldn't resume your dancing- you move so gracefully. Just watching your arms and hands is a moving experience.

I wish I could still dance.
Two years ago, I split a tendon in my thigh, and I'm still in therapy for it.
Even though I try. I'm definitely not as flexible as I used to be.
Beautiful dancing!
