The blast door would be preventative. you'd shut it just in case something bad happened :P

Well it's supposed to be like a realistic blast door. In reality, blast doors are used for, say nuclear reactors and such. You don't need fast doors in these instances.

Anybody that takes issue with the speed has never seen an actual blast door or bulkhead in operation. Can't really expect a 90 ton hunk of solid steel to fly off the hinges, can you? And for the "cream of the crop" that makes up youtube's commentors, let me get it out of the way now:

You should materal the lights to Vol_light t make them invisible but the effect is still there

By the way it's ment to be slow as its more realistic. Also give better suspense for those zombie attacks, allows you to hold them back until the door closes.

HOW do you make the lights brighter

The lights don't work on a simple on/off. So you can't feed them a 1 or 0. They work in the same way as the colour chooser on paint or something like that. So the colours have to be set a value from 0-255. So if you wanted red you would put red = 255 etc.

Hope that answers your question, if not then tough, no just kidding ask another specific question.
