  • @Truejusticevoice Cheers mate. These days I only train at home so I don't know how much I can latpull, but with my own weight of around 74 kg's I can do a weighted pull up with 50 kg's. You'd think I'd be able to add 74 kg's. I haven't got into the full technical side of it, but I know the body is only capable (depending on your conditioning) of a limited "effort". Which is why many advocate training one arm stuff, so you put all your available "effort" into one arm at a time for maximum result

  • @ian9toes Well, you are right, lat pulldown is nothing when compared to a one arm, not in this life not in the other. Lol! Well, you got my respects for what u did in the video.

  • @MickfromShik Thanks mate. I've been training more like a gymnast (well, a layz gymnast). I don't train as hard but I've been aiming to train as often as I can while staying as fresh as I can. I don't cane myself too much, but I train a little bit most days. Lately I've been doing weighted pull ups with just 20kg for about 7 or 8 reps, and some OAC negatives. I find I do best if I train moderately for a few days, then take a day off. I'm still inconsistant with them though after years at it.

  • Cheers mate, I see you're at a similar level with the one arm chins as me. I saw on your vid, going for the extra ones with part range of motion. I think you might be better off going full range, using one or two fingers from your other hand. Have you had any elbow tendonits yet, I've had it a couple of times now.

    Thankfully I haven't got any elbow tendonitis yet, I try not to overdo my oap training.
