  • She's my Step-Mum! And yes, we are very proud of her!

  • Is she still work as pilot

  • Haha - I've met this captain!

  • wow that captain made history being the first female captain to fly into T5

  • ...............and then the chaos ensued!!

  • i don't really like the look of the new terminal 5. There's too much going on and you get confused.

  • its amazing ive been there in may last year, its so much better than other terminals, so easy and efficient

  • I dont understand its not very special just a first flight to Termianl 5, well I suppose its kinda special but its quite a big fuss and I bet half the people there didnt know they were the first to Terminal 5.

  • Airline Pilot UK - i also saw that documentary aired by the BBC it was called 'Airline'

It was amazing to hear that Lynn B was flying the aircraft, i met her on my flight to Delhi back in '95. She was the first officer on the flight and i told her i saw her from airline. She invited me back on the flight deck for landing

  • did they all loose their bags when they landed? hah

  • It's the dingiest airport in the world possibly, LHR.

  • its true, sort of. terminal 5 sort of improves.

  • now bring back the bloody CONCORDE!

  • You seriously know nothing about the situation then, do you?

  • Sure I do, it's just wishful thinking!

  • GOOD ON YOU, WOULD LOVE YOUR JOB.

  • Quote abo944 - "This is the same Lynn Barton featured in a BBC documentary back in the 80's about BA.

She was the relief crew on a B747 Classic between LHR and BKK !

    Good for her !!"

OMG I thought I was the only one on earth that saw/recorded that documentary in the late 80's with Lynn flying as 2nd officer relief crew on Speedbird 9 EGLL - VTBD - YSSY, a short interview then called Kabul with a position report !

Its great to know she made Captain on the 747,

Thank you so much for posting !

  • Well, the opening of the terminal became a nightmare for passengers

  • why

  • problem with the baggage handling system

  • she loves closing her eyes when speaking

  • If she had to speak to the cabin they'd all be fucked ;)

  • @britanniaairlines12 - I no you osted this1 yea ago, but you ignorant fuck, trolley dolley?? you arse hole. Go die.

  • Yeah, thats not going to happen....

Go and grow a pair and man up

  • @britanniaairlines12 - Me grow a pair and man up seriously? obviously itsnot going to happen because the world isnt run by ignorant fucks like you! you, are just dam right sexist, obviously retarted and selffish, YOU GROW A PAIR AND MAN UP JESUSCHRIST.

  • No...

  • How cool would it be if ur mom was a BA 744 captan

  • @777RulesTheSky I would be like... a women is FLYING!!

  • I don't see why people are so "worried" about a female pilot. She has had exactly the same training as any male pilot. If she wouldn't be a captain!

  • your right!

  • I agree with you!

  • i m not a sexist, but if i heard a female voice saying "Goodmorning ladies and gentlement, this is your captain speaking..."

    i would be very tensed!!

women should not be allowed driving, not flying!!

    hehe, just kidding!

    that lady looks really professional!

  • This is the same Lynn Barton featured in a BBC documentary back in the 80's about BA.

She was the relief crew on a B747 Classic between LHR and BKK !

    Good for her !!

  • so ironic considering the massive fiasco brewing in the bowels of T5.

  • Wow, I would love her job! Love the BA 747s, I wish to be flying one one day :)

Nice to see a lady captain, she is inspiring :)
