I ask because the ones I listen to all the time have been labeled "Prosperity Preachers" but they talk about Grace frequently and are actually in the New Testament more often that the Old Testament. I've a feeling we are talking about the same ministers. Just please listen to more than a few handpicked excerpts of one or two of their messages before judging. They aren't "selling a blessing" any more than Jesus was. We're blessed under the New Covenant too. Sadly, few know how to receive it.
To repeat this illustration: You are speeding and going 10 miles over the legal speed limit and the posted sign gave you the speed law. A Law Officer turns the corner and is driving behind you, the Law now served to make you aware of the law and the penalty for breaking the law. However U start speeding again as soon as the Law Officer (cop) is gone. The law did not change your nature or desire to speed (break the speed law). It made you aware of the law with no power to change you.
This whole business of the Prosperity Gospel began with the tithe Police who declared a curse over the Lord's people if they did not pay up ten percent. Malachi was not talking to the Lord's redeemed by the blood of the lamb Christians, neither did God give us the 613 Mosaic laws to keep! We got in under the New Covenant of Grace. Jesus Himself said that He came so that we might have life (salvation) and have it more abundantly (prosperity). I believe you are the pot calling the kettle black when you accuse others of only preaching part of the gospel. Are you really preaching that Jesus lied? Or are you just twisting His words around to suit you? Why does it make you so uncomfortable that others (who love the same God) are receiving the promised blessings? Why do you condemn the saved instead of reaching out to the lost?

The video it is showing up fuzzy because you are trying to prove the scriptures are false. You condemn others who love and serve your God and call it preaching salvation. We are commanded to love each other (not just the poor). Are you walking in love? I believe ALL of the scriptures. Gal. 3 says we are the seed of Abraham and thus inherit the same blessing. Deut. 8 tells me what that blessing is. Jesus became the curse so we could receive the blessing which includes salvation AND prosperity.

@NotFlaking The ones I listen to preach about sowing and reaping, but then so did Jesus (Luke 6:38). They also preach Grace vs Law, and, MOST importantly, walking in LOVE (Mark 12:30). I've a feeling we are talking about the same ministers. Just please listen to more than a few handpicked excerpts of one or two of their messages before judging. They aren't "selling a blessing" any more than Jesus was. We're blessed under the New Covenant too. Sadly, few know how to receive it.

Please do not condemn us or those we give to because we don't "purpose" the same way you do. I enjoy giving. And I am blessed because of my giving. Nobody can take that away from me. Why do you even want to? Why does it bother you so much that people like me enjoy giving and that many preachers encourage us to do so? They understand "the blessing" and are sharing it!

He preaches giving, as well as salvation, healing, deliverance, love, etc. I give where God leads me to give. I don't question His direction. Yes, doctrine that promotes greed in the name of God is wrong, but that isn't what Creflo Dollar does. I've done my homework. How many of his messages have you actually listened to from beginning to end?

Creflo loves the Lord with all his heart and is preaching the gospel unto all the world (as we are commanded). God provided him with a jet to better fulfill the call on his life. Creflo has also been giving MUCH for MANY years. "Give and it shall be given unto you." I thank God for him. God has changed my life through him and others like him.

He would encourage people to work hard for what they need and to give to the people in need, not to him! Jesus Himself said that He came so that we might have life (salvation) and have it more abundantly (prosperity). I believe you are the pot calling the kettle black when you accuse others of only preaching part of the gospel. Are you really preaching that Jesus lied? The video it is showing up fuzzy because you are trying to prove the scriptures are false. You condemn others who love and serve your God and call it preaching salvation. We are commanded to love each other (not just the poor). Are you walking in love? I believe ALL of the scriptures. Gal. 3 says we are the seed of Abraham and thus inherit the same blessing. Deut. 8 tells me what that blessing is. Jesus became the curse so we could receive the blessing which includes salvation AND prosperity.

The problem with the rich young ruler is that money had him, not that he had money. Jesus said that "In my Father's house are many mansions..." Yes, MANSIONS, not mobile homes, RVs, or apartments. While I enjoyed the acting in this movie, the man depicted as Jesus looked NOTHING like the description of Him in Revelations(burnished bronze-color feet, etc). I'm totally with you on this vid, but tithing and offering is a great way to bless God's heart. It's the holding onto all your money and not having an open hand that is dangerous. Even though I am unemployed, my wife and I give to show God, not man, that we trust in His provision and He keeps providing. He would even if we didnt

@Shawnzy04 Beloved understand Grace means unmerited favor, unmerited means unearned and favor you did not earn or pay for. My objection is not over giving ten percent, the objection is the teaching that Christians redeemed from the curse of the law (this would include the tithe law) can be cursed with the Malachi 3 curse.'Malachi was speaking to Jews under a completely different covenant and law.
This whole business of paying God for his blessing is false.!

Beloved the Old Covenant was inferior in that they had outward rituals and laws but no change in their inner man (heart). New Covenant believers (born again Christians) have the infilling of the Holy Spirit Himself.
The law only pointed to our sin but did not give us the power to stop sinning. Jesus goes beyond the law and counts our behavior as the same as the act itself. Lust in the heart can be adultery.

@nannituckett - Yes. I Believe STRONGLY in EVERYTHING I say and do believe that EVERYWORD is from Yahuwah Flawlessly. No errors. If so, find them and expose them. As far as suggesting where you should go, you should have always been in the spirit and the holy spirit in you. NEVER look to a man for salavation unless of course, that man is Yahushua the Christ. I put all my trust and faith in him ALONE!!! He laid the foundation for this ministry.
