  • Savannah, I always like your videos but I'm afraid you are making things a bit more complicated than they should. Tell her to talk to her boyfriend politely in private that she's got a bit troubled whenever all Koreans get together and talk in Korean in front of her simply because she does not speak it fluently. It would be good that they speak in English in her presence. Done! My sister and I speak an Asian language but we always adopt this English only protocol in the presence of her friends.

  • @LiamMcRaeMusic why do Asian guys like white girls ??? Did h ask them why ?

  • I'm so confused ... Ur boyfriend is Korean ?? But U've mentioned he's a Taiwanese ... Or u got more than one ?!

  • she spoke chinese and her bf is korean , wtf

  • you liks afghani boyfriens?

  • @nangalam LOL!

  • That Korean is stupid.

  • if I were that girl I would worry more about the Korean Girls speaking korean around my BF than his friends...

  • do u get paid for tht

  • you are pretty annoying

  • i know ur still learning Chinese but u can't forget the tones because Chinese ppl won't really understand what ur saying. it will sound like something else. trust me when i was taking CHinese that was the first thing they was not to forget the tones. now i taking Japanese, vietnimese and french. oh and i still need work on english! ^_^

  • also she asked me to translate what they were saying. i felt so bad i didn't want to hurt her feeling .

  • yea about that um Some Korean guys and asian can be really mean. partly beacsue ur not from their race,or not asian. i have a friend who is not asian and barley speaks Korean and we were with his guy friends and they just started to make fun of her and say that he shouldn't go out with her. in Korean of course. i was really shocked. i am Korean but i don't really look Korean so they thought i wasn't Korean cause i met them for the first time.

  • nice u are awesome....

  • why she says Da jia hao ? it means Hello everyone in CHINESE

  • How about just letting your boyfriend do his own thing? I think it's important to let your boyfriend have his down time with his Korean friends. And I think it's kind of rude of you to expect them to cater to you, one guest, among many. Maybe you could hang out a little bit like one hour with them and then, leave and let them do their own thing.

  • I personally don't think this girl has a korean boyfriend, but if she accepts to help other people, then I suppose it's good.

  • @Janic99 LOL I severly doubt that! You are an icky asian man pretending to be a caucasian female that much is obvious!

  • Tajihao is not korean u ugly bastard

  • Tell them that you don't like it.

  • Can I ask you why is is that we (WHITE PEOPLE) have to be the ones having to go look at other cultures, why can't they come and look at ours? i am sick of this conditioning of white people that has been occuring through the media that to prove your not a racist you have to explore other cultures, its about time this sort of rubbish stopped.

  • @TheStevo333 What do you call Hollywood, American Pop, etc.? They all have influence in the rest of the world. What do you call the wide spread of English? Other cultures DO and HAVE not only looked at, but LEARNED, and BEEN INFLUENCED by Western cultures. You need to take your head out of the sand. No one in the media has suggested that whites LEARN another culture, much less another language.

  • @TheStevo333

Are you serious? many ppl around the world now are learning English because

it is known and used widely in everyday life and business. Also because of the music and hollywood movies, people want to learn and understand.

  • So wrong. Omg.

  • This is retarded. You got it all wrong.

  • Again, this is more than likely cultural issue in my opinion. Not exactly sure about Korea, but in Japan, they address "gentlemen and ladies" not the other way around as "ladies and gentlemen" in English speaking world. As a test, take him out with your girl friends and speak only English, and see his reaction.

  • Why do you feel the need to get on here and make videos about your asian boyfriend? You like the attention or something. Too bad your child wont have your green eyes that will be lost aswell.

  • why you say chinese ?

  • i wonder if asian girls get annoyed wen dey see asian guys dating out side of there race such white girls , latinas , blacks etc??,,,

  • @lalakimmie19 easy questions... some do some dont. some asians prefer whites over asians some dont. just like whites prefer blacks or black prefer whites. its 2011 get over it!

  • @ballinx30 but not many ppl c it like dat its like it dey r still in da dark ages lol

  • @lalakimmie19 well yeah there are some super conservatives out there... i think the majority is much more open minded though. usually i associate the uneducated or the plain dumb with conservatives. its just like how you see different races of friends hanging out. i mean a group of friends can consist of all colors but they can't date one another? thats stupid. look on tv lamar odom is MARRIED to khloe kardashian.

  • @ballinx30 and i agree with you a lot of people are still like EHHHHH white women with our man! haha u just gotta deal with the pros and cons. and hopefully good outweighs the bad. it definitely takes a strong person to date outside their race. so kudos ;)

  • ahahah , shes reading it

  • @therivalconcept, In my situation, I always translate to my girlfriend and constantly have eye contact with her and holding her hand so she feels comfortable and she enjoys learning different words, an excellent way of leaning, a small simulation of living in another country. She actually learned many useful phrases with joy. Don't be so negative and jump to conclusions like you know everything.

  • AAh! The language barrier, the video point out by communicating about how it feels is great!! I speak English, Mandarin and Hokkien and live in the states most of my life. My ex-girlfriend did'nt have any issues at all because communication was been done before hand. Sometimes when I meet with asian friends, we tend to use Mandarin to communicate because it's just natural. If I use English with some asian friends, they would wonder why..so it's an issue requires balancing and consideration.

  • @givmesumo Sure, its natural but come if u invited ur GF who dont speak manadrin hokkien etc then yeah a agree...itsabout consideration and balancing but if u really wanna speak chinese with ur mates why bring ur gf along? sure if she had no quams bout it then sure why not but again i think its a hospitaliy thing....if u cannot be hospitibal to all members of the group then i guess u should invite the ones u many neglect ( this applys to everyone in every culture )

  • But what about the white races survival?

  • The reason is that koreans normally dont speak eng well, but honestly sometimes they dont care abt yr feeling.

  • thank yu thats how i feel sometimes -___-

im puertorican and my boyfriend is vietmanese

he talks to his friends for a long period of time

    and all i can do is s m i l e o_O

  • of course, you can date with korean guy. because korean and filipino are sharing friendship, they really love it.

  • MAYBE THEY ARE SAYING THAT YOUR EYES AS BIG AS E.T'S!

  • OR BREAK UP WITH HIM AND GO DATE YOUR OWN KIND!

AM YANG XA SIIN MEANS YOU ARE A DUMBASS!

  • @biz20072008 그녀는 멍청한 lmao

  • @biz20072008 shes learning Madarin--Why dont you learn ENGLISH, so you dont have to purposly spell like a 4 year old

  • @biz20072008 but u can say the same to the koreans espcially if they are in an english speaking country xD

  • @biz20072008

That's what I"m saying. People can speak any language they fucking feel like. No reason to be damn annoying to stop anyone from doing what they fucking feel like!!!

  • yeah, and about some koreans being a lack of confidence, Actually many of them are not very outspoken because that is social value. When I was young, I was told to keep myself quite all the time so I had big problem when I came to west. It took me while to get used to chatting random shit until my nose bleed. so, there you go. a piece of cultural information for you. It takes courage to break cultural practice otherwise your mama and daddy will whip your ass. It is more scary than you think.

  • I was talking to a korean friend i say Jeongmal = really but he MISHEARED Jeon-na = fuck xD <---- Read it again I said jeongmal which means really but he misheard it for Jeon na which equals fuck. Then he said to me with the korean language u gotta speak up and be strong and confident in ur speach cuz if not misunderstanding will happen. Point being im not affraid to make mistakes and learn from them and tht is wht a lot of koreans are afraid of makeing mistakes cuz u know that is how we learn

  • @TheRivalConcept lol Alright. I get you. you are interested in korean stuff and you also want to learn K language as well. So, you got a korean man and majored korean language eh? well then you are practically a random korean with limited language skill. (a bit odd looking tho..not being rude) Anyway, why are you so pissed? Is it because people don't talk to you? Don't worry because they don't talk to me much either lol

  • @Leed86012000 ummm....where did i say i am korean? I am of polish blood born and raised in australia. No asian in me XD ...dont start assuming, if u looked at my channel u'd see i am not asian at all xD

  • @TheRivalConcept yeah I know. I mean to say you are culturally korean even tho you don't look korean. you look a bit odd to pass as korean and that's what I meant by (a bit odd looking tho...not being rude.) anyway, it was a joke. so, you are polish? The polish people are very conservative as far as I have seen. There are tons of them living in here London and the most of them turns out to be very hard working. I think the winner of Japanese speech contest last year was a young polish girl.

  • @Leed86012000 im of polish decent . i was born and raised in AUS i am far from conservitive adding to that majority of the times my thininking is very black and white also majority f the times very blunt and direct in the way i say things. also ibelive not matter wht country u vistyif u cnnt speak the basics before u go to that countryu shouldnt stay for more than a wk or so.

  • @TheRivalConcept well.. I might not be able to speak what you meant by 'basic' but I'm certain that I can speak about my own experience. I said 'The polish people are very convervative and hard working AS FAR AS I HAVE SEEN' ... Anyway, I didn't mean to offend you so don't take it wrong way.

  • @Leed86012000 Also no matter where u are from if u invite ur gf bf or even a friend to a party or get together with all koreans etc its is the persons resoncibility to make u feel welcome and part of the group this applies for al nationalites. today i have a Korean BBQ PARTY for my korean club and there were 2 koreans with extreemly limited eng skills yet the majrity of the group were english speakers and we never letft the 2 koreans out. it is called hospitality and manners.

  • @Leed86012000 Lets face it Koreans rather choose to be with thier own race rather than mixing with others sure not all are like that but come on...unless they werenot born and rasied in korea they will rather not mix with any other race. I am not speaking for all koreans but come on if they come to AUS the US or Canada etc they are he ones who must learn english not use learn thier lanuage. this is not a must for us. do u know what i mean?

  • @TheRivalConcept and.. I do appreciate that you and your group of people tried to show hospitality to those 2 koreans who had limited Eng skills but you can't expect whole world to behave like you. I live in western country and I have been left out many times for various reasons. so don't give any impression that only koreans like to ignore outsiders. It has got nothing to do with race. you can't be in the centre of conversation if you don't understand the subject of the talk.

  • @Leed86012000 in all honesty i have had far less trouble in japan and in other parts of asia. it is common manners when U invite some1 no matter race to a party u are obligated to make them feel welcome etc. this has NOTHING to do with race. i think if he wanted to talk to his mates in korean he souldnt have invte/brought her GF along. still asian society is male dominated to most extents and still expect thier women to sit smile and behave. sure this is changing but slowly

  • @TheRivalConcept ohh! NOW I understand why you are pissed. sorry. so, your BF borought you along when he meets his korean mates and expect you to just sit there and behave..Is that right?. yeah. I mean.. no.. it must be uncomfortable for you because you are not used to that kind of environment. I think you need a good long talk (or complain?) with your husband. Just tell him that you don't want to be there with a big forced smile on your face. I'm sure he will understand.

  • @Leed86012000 nonononononono...ur missing the whole point im talking about the this video. and the girl this chick is talking about. fucking read my comments properly and if u cannot commprehend them ask questions before making comments.

  • @TheRivalConcept jesus calm down.. it is only a little culture talk. you said you had the same experience as the girl on the issue so you understand how she feels. Anyway, I guess you don't want to talk about your problem and there isn't much things I can say except that you will just have to get used to the new environment. you are expecting the people around you to get you involved even if you don't understand the conversation and I say you need to learn the conversation to get involved..con

  • @Leed86012000 I am guessing ur a rude inhospitiable person with no manners what so ever. it dosent matter about culture. it matters about when u invite someone you have to act like the host to them and make the person u invite welsome and wanted. dont u do that ? Koreans, you have to admit are the worst and fitting in with westerners. When i invited my best friend (who is vietnmese) all the koreans talked to him more than talking to me even in english. why because he is asian. sure this just

  • @Leed86012000 gose for some korean not all but come koreans in general are far to selfcontious care bout their image to mix with westerners etc. When i lived in korea i tried my best to be myself...yet melt into korean society and culture. I only hung around Koreans bcause i knew my pourpose. Most koreans come to study and or learn english some with student visas some with working holiday visas, yet they just hang around koreans after school and work etc. Jpnese chinese and most other asians

  • @TheRivalConcept have more confidence than koreans in learning english and atcually trying to uttilize it in every day societ. if u travle to another country and especially for more than 1 yr u must adapt and asimilate. but they dont. sad

  • @TheRivalConcept oh don't they? than how comes most of my friends are non-koreans? my friends are from Iran, Nigeria, Italian, English,Pakistan, Somaila and Thai. I have known tham for many years (12 yrs?) and I don't have any problem with assimilating in British Society. Of course, I have seen couple of suckers here but I don't Judge them by their cultural background. you are saying that korean people don't talk to you because you are non-asian but...conti

  • @TheRivalConcept but I think there is problem with your personality. sorry. I don't mean to be rude. I'm just saying it from my experience. my cousin's BF is Afro-American and he gets all the attention from his fellow korean mates. I personally think it is depends on who you are. not where you are from. If all koreans always stick to their own, how comes your korean husband married an Aussie girl like yourself? Anyway, I appologise if you thought I was being rude....

  • @Leed86012000 did i say ALL Koreans? seriously dude where did i say ALL koreans? OF COURSE there will be koreans who stand out and are different...I talk bout what i have experience, seen and or heard. again with putting words in my mouth..also its not just who ur but ur culture that defines who ur and how u act and think. if this is not so why is it the eg koreans must always act a ceritan way to certian people, that u must bow as a greeting to older people, and different honnorifics r used

  • @Leed86012000 generaly speaking its Non asian males can get asian girls easly commpared to Asian men getting non asian women. y because generaly speaking asian women think 1stly non asian men treat them better etc...Asian men usually cannot get western women (btw im talking bout "FOBS") not 1st 2nd gen +gyopos , becuase usually non asian women think asian men r to girly and have small 8==D (steriotype i kno) and tht they control thier women.

  • @TheRivalConcept Btw, I still don't understand why you mentioned size of 8==D and korean honourifics and drinking manners. It hasn't got nothing to do with sticking to the similar people...anyway, I agree that the culture has a lot to do with how one acts or thinks..

  • @Leed86012000 well in my opinion culture has A lot with how one acts or thinks, if this was not so, then why eg do koreans have different honnorifics for older, younger, same age people? why do koreans recive soju frm older ppl and turn away when drinking after holding it with the left hand and thier rite hnd touching thier left elbow? why is it u take off ur shose when entering a persons home? this is CULTURE and manners. it is korena culture not to show PDA's so cuture has alot 2 do with

  • @TheRivalConcept cont.....how one acts and thinks. sure then people can rebel or choose to oppose this culture but its majority of the times people just follow it even if they disagree.

  • @TheRivalConcept yeah.. now we are going somewhere. It is not ALL koreans isn't it? you should have said that in the first place. Anyway, you have come across bunch of koreans who prone to stick to their own but I want to tell you that it is not just bound to the FOB koreans. I have seen group of Bengalis and Nigerians in seoul and they don't hang out with Koreans. I also have seen Aussies in London and I often capture them with their own group. Some ppl are just like that.con..

  • @TheRivalConcept people just like to hang out with the similar groups because it is easier. I'm sure you found the Aussies very comfortable but you have chosen to break the cultural barrier and trying to assimilate with the Koreans. I respect that. But you can't expect everyone to be like you. How many of your Aussie fellows are willing to take trouble to be lost in translation? (hope you seen that movie..) the same thing goes for the koreans con....

  • @Leed86012000 then what is thier purpose of comeing to eg Aus or america etc? Majority come either as students to learn english or as working holidays visas to learn english and see Aus etc yet majority of them come for the english but stay for the koreans so to speak xD if they wanna just want to hang around koreans why not just stay in korea? when i was in korea i would only hang around non koreans if it was 100% nessasary because i knew my pourpose to enjoy and absorb korean culture,.

  • @TheRivalConcept They can't help it. They go to US/Aussie and etc to learn English and Culture but you know it takes a tremendous effort and time to get accostomed to the new environment. You will understand because you have the same experience in Korea. My point is that it is not just koreans who failed to intergrate with local people. It goes with anyone. I wonder if you know there is a town for English people in spain. A lot of English people lost their property in spain because..cont

  • @Leed86012000 cont.. because they didn't have any local knowledge and nobody in the town was good at spanish. They failed to understand the contract and had to return their property even they have lived there for more than 10 years. The local people remarks that 'Those people did not want to integrate, we are happy to see them going back to England' It is in Human nature. People hang out with similar kinds because it is easier....cont.

  • @Leed86012000 Btw, I don't think you can complain about the koreans not integrating with the Aussies because number of korean people who made an effort to understand the Austrailan culture and English outnumbers the Aussies who made an effort to understand the korean culture and language. Isn't that obvious?

  • @Leed86012000 u know why that is? because Korea is still a minority when it comes to language and culture, all people in AUS usually know about korea is samsung LG kia and hyundai and maybe Kimchi. Majority of aussie that i know learn japanese and or chinese only 1 aussie i know is learning korean dilligently. also its cuz aussie in general go to make money in korea not to learn its culture. making money by teaching english, sure some absorb alot but the majority dont

  • @TheRivalConcept I didn't ask you why no of Aussies who makes an effort to learn korean language and culture is less than vice versa case. I know why but why is not the issue here. The issue is that why do you have to complain about the koreans who failed to integrate with Aussies? If some koreans couldn't managed to assmilate, that's their loss and they know they are losing money from oversea Edu. Besides, not all Aussies in korea do managed assimilate with locals so you can't complain.

  • @Leed86012000 well who the fucking is dumb enough to buy property with out understanding the contracts etc? if u dont know the language or culture or dont have someone close to u who does...obviosuly this is a red flag a warning sign. intergration is a MUST if one wants to live in a nother country no matter where it is. Btw i lived in busan korea for 2 mnths vacation to learn bout korean food and sight see but i knew the basics of korean b4 i went.(this was my purpouse)

  • @Leed86012000 u know smothing yesterday when i ate dinner with my friend and his friend s one of his friends said i have been living in AUs for 2 yrs and ur the 1st aussie friend i have. i cannot say forsure but i had a feeling if i wasnt interested in KOrea or had knowllege bout korea, they would not even care about me or say such words. it is also Korean have this thing that Aussie dont like koreans or think badly of koreans. so they are affraid to approch an aussie unless 100% nessasary

  • @Leed86012000 lol when i was in korea i knew that the culture is different and that its not gonna be the same as mine. I cam to korea for a purpouse to site c and learn bout korean food culture. but they come here to Aus and want to learn english yet all they do is speak korean str8 after class and more than 90% hang round koreans and sometimes other asians (due to similar culture and or thinking), you bloody call that tremendous effort?

  • @TheRivalConcept err...I never said you are not aware of cultural difference and I never said the effort that the koreans who went to Aus to learn English are making tremendous effort. Pls... just read my comment before going crazy. I said it takes tremendous effort to assimilate into different culture. If there are some koreans who are not integrating, (or learning English fast) they probably are not making this 'tremendous' effort but you can not blame them because it is not easy.(my point)

  • @Leed86012000 1 yr is not a short time especially if u are studying english. NOTHING in life worth learning or doing is easy. what you are saying is a fucking excuse, just because its hard they take the easy way out waste their money and time if they wanted to be around koreans why bother comming to Australia or travle in the 1st place?

  • @TheRivalConcept 1yr is not a short time if you are learning English? that depends on your mother tongue/culture/sex/previous foreign language experience. 1.korean language is nothing similar to Eng. 2. silence is regarded as value of man in korean culture. 3. men are generally less talkative than woman 4. If you are learning foreign language for 1st time, the chance of getting it is very slim and takes a long period of learning. Were you be able to hold conversation in Korean after 1 yr?

  • @TheRivalConcept Many koreans are well aware of this.( the koreans I know) so the koreans do not try to achieve fluent English skill as given time is short(except for those who can afford to stay longer)They are in Aus to improve their CV and employablity by getting any form of oversea qualification. Do you think they have enough space to think about cultural exchange? Their case is very different from those previleged English teachers in korea. be more empatical..

  • @TheRivalConcept cont...Besides, I don't know how long you have spent your time in korea and I don't know how long you have learn the language but can you be absolutely certain that your korean is better than their English? given that they stayed in the country for the same period as your stay in korea. And what I meant by 'their' is every korean individuals that you came across in Aus...

  • @TheRivalConcept If you think the FOB koreans are just bunch of racist fuckers, the solution is very simple. Don't hang out with them. Just found any Korean who are interested in Aussie culture/people(and of course.. English) or hang out with the koreans who understand the western culture. I'm sure there are plenty. Besides, you can speak English so I'm sure you can attract a lot of English learners. As you know, Eng education is very popular in Korea (probably whole asia..)

  • @Leed86012000 majority of koreans learn english only to speak korean right after thier lessons, really wanting to learn english? lol....they may show dilligence in their school but out of it they fail..this is the fault of the korean english education system....where reading writting and grammar is most important but speaking and listening is the 1st most imortant thing, if u are in any country there will be those who speak english mayb not many but if u can speak and listen you can survie.

  • Anyway, you are almost korean and I don't think you should worry too much about not being able to make a long conversation with Korean people. it is just what they are and they are not trying to put you out of their boundary. you just have limited korean language skill in their view (just like a kid) and there aren't many people who particularly enjoys talking to a kid. Just wait for yourself to grow up a bit more and you will be naturally part of them.

  • I so know the feeling my husband always invie me to go with him and his co-wokers out to dinner and im there sitting next to my husband thinking WTF are they saying? think its ingeranl Koreans have very highself image standards and well yeah theyare very self contious in making mistakes and being labled but unlike the girl i woul try an talk to them...and make them speak english. but some of my husbands friend said i wanna learn english frm u and im like fuck off cuz u dont even try to tlk 2 me

  • @TheRivalConcept and... I believe that is what everyone has to do when they go to another country. you can't expect the others to change their policy for you. you have to change yourself for them. you defined the hospitality as ' making the foreigners feel welcome' but the local people can't offer any hospitality if you don't tell them how you want them to treat you. Besides, I thought you are interested in learning korean culture. I never knew you are interested in changing it..??

  • Savannah's responses are the most thoughtful, intelligent, and insightful out of all the utube videos i've seen. She must've graduated from Berkeley LOL. Also, b/c she is sympathetic and Cal has a lot of Asians. I want to meet you Savannah!

  • My suggestion!

This happens with me quite frequently when my husband is hanging out with his Korean friends. Here is what I do.

I have tried to learn more Korean.

I would ask the group what the topic of conversation was and share my views. Sometimes i try to piece together what they are talking about with the limited amount of korean I know. Surprisingly i am often close due to situation and body language. other times i am completely off.

lastly i have ended up drunk and bored.

  • Why all the white girls which date asian girls are so goddessly attractive.you know at i mean? it meant to be baby;) man that eyes..are weird!!!

  • Why all the white girls which date asian girls are so goddessly attractive.you know at i mean? it meant to be baby;)

  • I so had this problem. Not just with the guys but with the wifes as well. To the point I even ask to go home if people were not going to include me. I knew a few words but not enough to hold a conversation. The problem got a little better but never fully got fixed for anyone. I just kept trying to understand and butted in to the conversation with "so what are you talking about" and "can you please use some english when I am here, thank you". I hope this helps.

  • move over white boys

  • I feel bad when I see my Asian friends not talking to my English speaking friends and totally ignoring them.

    It's embarrassing.

  • look.. it is odd to speak English to the same koreans isn't it? they are not trying to make you feeling left out, you just need to be comfortable in that situation. relax..jeeze.

  • @Leed86012000 i dont think so. if they see a non korean in the room and they are the only korean they should make a fucking effort to make that person feel involed and welcome. trust me and my husband talked about this. yet many of his mates wanna study english lol....so instead of moping around what i do is get involve and ask questions and talk to them and they cannot not answer even if its a 1 word answer. u know how a korean would feel if they were @ an event and cnt speak englsih?

  • @TheRivalConcept Read my comments again. What I'm saying is that the korean people are not trying to make you feeling left out. They are speaking koreans to each other because it is comfortable for them. If you take that as an offence, may be you should get a knife and stab everyone who speaks korean....jeeze.

look. there are two ways of getting involved. you learn korean or you teach them English.

  • @Leed86012000 Lol...where did i way i take offenece ?but it its ture koreans when in a group of koreans with only one non korean. they sould feel obligated to make that person feel welcome and involed. when ever i invite koreans to an aussie party i do that. I know koreans a full of hospitality and welcome if 1 u can speak some korean 2 talk bout korea or stuff that is korean, as for my husband ummmm....네 남편은 한국사람입니다~ My husband is korean xD is all because koreans are way to selfcontious and are

  • @Leed86012000 about thier image in the eyes of others. They are afraid to practice english and make mistakes. Koreans are on average the slowest when it comes to learning english. They spend so much money on language schools and yet when they finish they speak only korean . it kinda makes u think where their prorities lie right? if in Korea they changed thier english education system Korea would be far better off...but my point was if u get 1 korean in an event with only eg eng speaking aussies

  • @TheRivalConcept that never payed attention to them, trust me when i say i am sure most koreans would either stay be polite to save face, then go back home and say wow aussies are as friendly as i thought why that dont like asians? youneed to be comfortable is that sutiation? if ur comfortable you will not learn.this gose for ppl learning any lingo. funny story I was talking to a korean friend i say Jeongmal = really but he misheard Jeon-na = fuck xDv i was so embarrased but hey i learnt that day

  • @TheRivalConcept Hang on, so, it sounds like you are hanging out with koreans 'to learn korean'. If that is the case, I agree with you. you need to be more outspoken and interactive. But hey, I'm not a language teacher so I'm not going to punch them in the mouth just because they speak in their own language. personally, If people can not afford to use a different language to talk to me, I don't force myself to talk to them. I just listen because I can pick up a lot from just by listening.

  • @Leed86012000 i hang around koreans becuase 1 i have a genuine interest in korean culture and all aspects of korea and its people not jsut Kpop, Kdramas and korean guys like most wannabes . yeah i wanna learn the language, unlike in US in Brisbane (aus) there is NO korean language school for korean, there is just a course at a uni which is the basics which i know already. and well i wanna open a korean resuturant or cafe in AUS and in Korea. I guess Koreans lack confidence in themselve.

  • @TheRivalConcept and consider this. this is my experience. I've been learning Japanese for about 4 years and my first language is not English (I'm korean) I finally managed to communicate with people who uses Eng and Jp after years of pulling my hairs but I failed understand that silence is also a form of Language. Communication is also about understanding the emotions, not just words and exchanging ideas. And yeah. try to make less mistake jeeze...(jeongmal=jeon-na?)

  • you have a korean boyfriend? you are such a loser

  • @phalluses i like asians, so does alot of people. suck a dick

  • You know what ...this is all about culture! Because it is strange to speak English with his Korean friends. They don't think it is harsh. I understand that coz I'm Azn.

  • u know what i think, I think they like speaking Korean in front of you becuz they want u to hear the language becuz they want u to think its cool. (I've done this multiple times to my bf) Second, maybe they are not that fluent in English?? and afraid to make mistakes. and the third reason is hard to explain but its a mix of the first one and this hard to explain thing. So yeah :)

  • you are soooo right about being aware of what language to use since it could affect the ppl who dont understand it! I have different kind of friends in the world and some know english, some mandarin, some spanish, and i always keep that in mind and DO THOSE THINGS you just said! HA! so in any "mix" of group we end up talking on the language that everyone knows or the mayority knows and arh.. sometimes its just impossible so i end up saying the same thing TWICE in diff language! <3 to all

  • Can you make a porno please?

  • You are sooo pretty!

  • 4:41 what a sad fuck. so let me guess this straight. if hes worth being with then hes gonna bow out 2 her demands? that's the guilt trip u r indoctrinating this bitch with? u think that her man's boys aren't saying 'if that fat gaijin (japanese i know) fuck is worth any amount of dick shes gettin, she'll stop naggin & accept that we koreans speak korean. we could say 2 her stop speaking so much english as 'we arent comfortable''.

u should b tellin her to suck it up (pun sort of intended)

  • @TENNSUMITSUMA Really? That's really harsh, and I doubt that would be a solution to anything. Typical Korean demeanor looking down on women in general though I suppose though..

  • @d4n13lr0x

    you are an absolute idiot

  • wanna date some black dick now?

  • @Yiyichen888 Ah yes if only there was a way to justify European imperialism

  • look at these fucking gooks and chinks fighting over whose better. NONE OF YOU TINY DICK MOTHERFUCKERS ARE BETTER.

  • guys lets just agree that KOREANS are gooks and CHINESE are chinks okay?

asians in general are GAY. woo!

  • @axfndi62

    what about the japs

  • I'm sorry that we Asian guys do that. I can only explain it as...some shit sounds way funnier in our native language. When you speak another language other than English you'll probably understand. English is very monotone jokes with emphasis on tones sound way funnier. I do notice my non-asian friend feels left out, but I don't try and do it on purpose. Also speaking in our native language we are free from being proper, etc.

  • @Yiyichen888

Do you know what means " 以管窺天"? Even I try to talk to you about something like this way, we just don't understand each other, that's why you have small knowledge of it.

  • @Yiyichen888

産業 (industry) + 文化 (culture) + 傳統 (tradition) = It happens through mutual respect and cooperation between the countries. Not only one country! STUPID CHINESE BASTARD! You know what? Korean people are an intellectual standard more than you Chinese because we have no natural resources, and only getting manpower! Korean 文盲率 (illiteracy rate) is almost close to zero!

  • @Yiyichen888

Tradition? What tradition? How many Chinese Tradition do it maintain??? Most of Chinese traditions had been gone away by Red Guards, 紅衛兵?? If I was a Chinese people, I could be shamed myself!! How could Korean people know much more about Chinese culture than you people?? You know what? The rumors something like "Oh~ Korean stole Chinese culture bla bla bla~" is all came from Taiwan or Japanese fake leading article.

  • @Yiyichen888

I don't care about Chinese people who dislike Korean people. However, I care about the world people who dislike East Asian people because of you fucking Chinese rude behaviors happened over the world, everyday and every night! Don't be off the point what we talked about! Please?

    Stupid Chinese 中華思想 idiot!

  • @Yiyichen888

If Korea is so great why the fuck did Korea copy chinas culture, writing, and traditions eh?

-> Holy cow!!! You're absolutely such stupid 中華思想 you got into lol Who stole Chinese cultures??? Where's the pure Chinese culture??? Don't you know the meaning of culture? Go to google what's culture!

You said about writing??? 漢字?? Who cares about 漢字??? We already had "phonogram, 表音文字" using now, and we don't need the fucking "ideogram, 表意文字 " it's unuseful!!!

  • @Yiyichen888

Ignorant Chinese. I'll tell you the truth. Chinese has great influence in Asia which we are grateful but today China is an embarrassment. China produce nothing but cheap low quality products with poor human rights violations. For God sake you have no say in your corrupt authoritarian gov't. There is nothing sophisticated about China. Chinese language is annoying to listen to. Chinese cities are filthy clogged w/ smog.

Chinese are the originators of - asian sterotype in US

    China

  • @Yiyichen888

Stop talking around the subject!! You said, Chinese owned everything in Korea? You're so out of high point!

Who cares about " bruce lee, jackie chan, jet li, maybr jay chou, wang leehom"? Are you a bastard? You know how it could be fool hardy as you said like that bullshit? Look around over the world! How many Chinese people are illegal aliens over the world!! So, that's why the world people don't like East Asian people because of you people who disgraces them!

  • @SNSDTVgeneration

Great points. This Chinese boy has been sniffing glue again in Nike factories in China earning less than .50 cents per day. Can't even think of one world class Chinese brand, nothng but cheap imitations.

He has seem to forgotten how many Korean companies (Samsung, Lg, Hyundai) provide jobs for the Chinese in China.

Illegal Chinese all over the world, look at the video in Milan,Italy. South Korea, US, Japan.

Chinese are the largest forgers of Korean passports. Disgrace.

  • your almost a good philosopher , i couldnt really understand what you said cause i was hypnotized by your eyes.

  • As an American Korean Man, who has also done a year at Yonsei University, not everything Korean is good. One is their speaking English in the World. Sure, they are changing, but many Koreans are afraid to speak English out of the embarrassment factor. They are quick to make fun of someone speaking Korean... go figure... So, be proud, tell them to speak English.... They'll respect you in the end.

  • anyway, this girl is an AMERICAN NOBLE from her profile. Lovely & beautiful. Who can refuse this girl except GAYS?

  • i dont know how the japanese porn industry thrived for so long when most of their male performers have 3 inch dicks... its ridiculous. Thank god for asian guys like keni styles who are making a true representation of asian guys and fixing the small penis image that the japanese ruined.

  • @Yiyichen888

You think, China owned everything in Korea??? lol How? :D I really wonder how it worked like that bullshit? At least we're NOT like China xDD You know why East Asian could be teased by Caucasian?? because of you Chinese!! Look around you people how they're doing at!

  • @SNSDTVgeneration listen i agree with you that China has alot of flaws and non-asian people do make fun of chinese people often, but dont blame it solely on the chinese. There is a reason why the words, "gook" and "jap" were invented by the racist whites and btw the reason why asian guys have a bad rep of having small penises is because of the japanese porn industry and tiny ass cocks.
