  • How the hell Stallone would dare to create a remake under a stick filled with muscles...

No disrespect to this great and beloved actor Stallone is also but I still think that Al Pacino would have and has much more potential for the remake.

  • a remake would be so great. sly could shoot tons of muslim gangs!

  • @AntiAzzlackFraktion Nah would be better if shot German 23year old Nazi scum stains!

  • @NASA19

    stfu leftist traitor scum

  • brundlefly@ 0:09

  • Black thugs and White trash = perfect Bronson fodder.

  • Now THIS is a trailer! I wish the movies today would do a trailer like this today. Bad narrator. 70s funk music. Tell the entire story, plot points and all, right there in the commercial. Groovy.

  • @mindstormsabrewin lmao they do tell the entire story haha

  • to bad this could't be reality, then the criminals would be the ones living in fear not the victims.

    just a thought,don't yuh think.......

  • Refer to the scene of the movie death wish 5 as to charles bronson

saying these people they murder, they steal then destroy

people,s lives and get away with it, then an officer tells him

to leave it to the police sometimes the law works and bronson

saying AND SOMETIMES IT DOES,NT. Well bronson is right

he knows what he,s talking about and in real life most times

    the law REALLY NEVER works.

  • As for many good citizens who are angered by this do not care

about the rights of criminals according to the law, we know

inherently whats right and wrong and we know evil when we see

it.If the rights of the victims are not taken care of this

is my whole point of view that certain countries have a very soft

law and if there was no death penalty then what do you do to

    demand justice?

  • I myself admire and support

vigilanties and these death wish movies with bronson

that look realistic had inspired alot of people cause it

was showing the world that he did a very good job of

protecting and saving the lives of innocent people against

the evil plus his mission was defending himself by executing

all the violent and low life scum off the streets if he,d been

under attack, one man, one gun and ONE SHOT is all it

    would take to finish someone.

  • In the name of law enforcement people do become vigilanties and

deal with their own punishment in real life society,s underbelly.

Terrorists, phsychopaths, armed robbers, muggers, drug pushers

gangsters and mafias should be all wiped out as they,re the scum

of the earth and this is to show to the world that they would not

    tolerate such violent behaviour.

  • Amazing!!! I just found Due Date movie streaming live on Yebako c,0m. good video quality and movie is realy awesome!

  • 2:12 i want that picture in my bedroom XD

  • 1973 was a good year...the exorcist and death wish..they don't make movies like that anymore

  • You wanna clean up New York? Kill all the niggers.

  • @TorgeistLLN then you get rid of the white trash

  • Super ill soundtrack by Herbie Hancock.

    Beats by Wallace Green

  • One of the greatest movies of all time. Most men wish they would do the same thing if anyone messes with their loved ones. Most women want their men to be like Bronson if anything happened to them.

  • @1001erickp I would do this anyway, just to get a kick.

  • hollywood sucks man that they are going to remake a classic.

BTW the only director that could do any justice to this movie, (as a director, noone could replace Broson)would be Tarintino

  • Do not fuck with chuck !

  • 2010 .Peace Girl !@#$@$@. 2010

  • this movie is so sweet. all the actors nowadays are pussy ass pretty boy fags. bronson, eastwood, mcqueen, willis, arnold, lee, norris were badasses. death wish remake starring justin timberlake or jude law or seth rogen

  • No, no, no no no, no no no no no, fuck no, I like stallone and all but nobody but nobody replaces bronson.....nobody.

  • @Shanethefilmmaker right you are

  • Roles that defined an actor's legacy should should be remade. Its a lose-lose situation.

  • Charles Bronson.... the baddest badass that ever lived. (to be grammatically correct, it should be "worst ass" but that just doesn't sound right.)

  • @Riflemanm16a2 Made a vid on him

  • @STHFGDBY I AM TOTALLY AGREE, BRO. SHOOT ALL THE DAMNED CRIMINALS.

  • if sylvester stallone remakes it, it better not be starring sylvester stallone. at least someone who looks like charles bronson

  • I THINK PAUL KEARSY HAS A PROBLEM KEEPING PERSONAL FRIENDS

  • That nigga brought a knife to a gun fight!

  • Trailers suck in those days, Old Movies however are great. These days it's always the opposite..........

  • Comment removed

  • I'm really going to buy this one on DVD. ::> Saw it online at

watch !!! last !!! movies. com (delete !!!'s)

  • Michael winner was one disgusting director.

  • R.I.P. a true legend

  • I like how every kill in the film is in this trailer

  • This is a classic but it unfortunately succumbed to the dreaded sequel business.

  • @inbredagogo I, for one, like all the sequels except for 5. You just have to take them a bit less seriously.

  • bronson roxs :)

  • The only guy who could come anywhere close to portraying Bronson's role as Paul Kersey is Clint Eastwood.

  • @FischerFan true

  • @FischerFan Bronson is in a league of his own.

  • Well said, kenpalmer.

Bronson was... is, one of the very few actors who no matter what role he played, he was always great at it. Death Wish is one classic I never get tired to watch. Thirst for justice is a theme that Bronson did better than anyone else, and I think he knew very well that deep inside, there is a "Paul Kersey" in all of us.

  • This was one of my alltime favorite movies by the late Mr. Bronson. Indeed he will missed by us all as judge, jury and executioner. Rest In Peace, Paul Kersey!

    Ken Palmer

  • this movie fucking kicks ass! RIP Charles Bronson...i love all his movies!

  • The police are scared of the real criminals-they just lock up some dumb schmuck picking his nose the wrong way and act all tough.

We need more Bronsons mowing down those filthy, creepy, rotten bastards most people are really afraid of on the hard city streets.

  • ,,I love the cops who threatened to put me in jail and harrased me because my headlight went out.

  • The VO guy here is Ed McMahon.

  • As a cultural sign of the times, I will always remember Bronson's son in law

in this movie, a caricature of an urbane 1970's male. This guy was a whiny, helpless, new-age twit who felt it was "civilized" to cut and run from criminals. This was after his wife was beaten into a coma.

  • The first deathwish is an awesome movie, a young Jeff Goldbloom as one of the Murdering Rapist's ! .The Mechanic is another Great Bronson movie as well

  • death sentence is the 2nd book of the series.

as for remaking it don't fix what is not broken...

  • The remake is to be so hardcore.

  • i just seen Death wish 2 for the first time in my life and i gota say its fucken awsome! , i gota find all the DVDs parts

  • Bruce willis could be in it or mel gibson clint eastwood could have been in it or nick cage

  • oh yes i def agree but i was just staing the brave one isnt as much of a remake as Death Sentance lol see Kevin Bacon goes after the thugs whereas Jodie Foster just keeps being in the wrong spot at the wrong time lol

  • if thats true i hope bronson comes back from the grave and kicks stallones ass.

    stallone doesnt even compare!

  • Yeah cuz she can act. lol

  • Stallone isn't doing this in memeory of Charles Bronson, it's because they don't have the imagination to think of anything new.

  • Charles Bronson is as famous as Stallone!

  • They already remade Death Wish, it's called The Brave One starring Jodie Foster... and it was actually great.

  • Death Sentance is a more likely remake than The Brave One

  • @cdowg187 that not it sorry

  • @cdowg187 no you r wrong man sorry

  • Hahaha stallone remaking death wish what a joke if anyone wants to see how bad thats going to be just watch stallones tragic remake of micheal caines "get carter". Stallone is a bumbling past it fuck.

  • well a new death wish without Bronson is strange to me but if it will have a lot of action made by regular midle aged guy, sir we have a movie! Thank you Stallone!

  • I dont doubt Stallone's talent...

he can certainly make a great action movie if he sets his sights on it...

However, this was, in many aspects, Michael Winner's puppy... yes, the book was by Garfield, and yes, it was in the wake of the "Dirty Harry" days of glory...

but Winner was the one who crafted the movie. Bronson gave it a face, but it was through the lens of Winner, and his at-the-time viscious idea...

  • i think the prisoner is the better one haha

"IVE GOT A GUARD HOSTAGE IN MY CELL.......AND HES IN A LOT OF TROUBLE"

  • is the good movie in the accion all times

  • I read the original book named Death Wish on which the film was based. I hope the remake will be more faithful to the plot of the book because this film wasn't. It was still a marvelous film.

  • i hope sly leaves the cheese home, if he wants to do a remake...

i dont like the idea; i believe bronson was paul kersey.

Also i read about sly contemplating the idea of making the character into a cop. WHAT THE HELL IS THAT CRAP?

it sounds like cheese-ball, modern day, corny stuff, and miles away from the elements that made this movie, the original, such a haunting experience

  • Good movie !.

  • You are about the "political correctness" thing, but remember that Rambo 4 was more crude and violent than all the other Rambos.

  • Good, and I hope they don't water it down. If the word applies, use it!

  • stallone remaking death wish would be a dream come true and he is the right age now to play paul kersey

  • Don't forget the "Mechanic".

  • Winner rules. Both DEATH WISH and THE SENTINEL look absolutely brilliant on their newly remastered dvds.

    Class.

  • I wish Charles Bronson were around to make a movie fighting the Islamic Jihad, bullet to Osama's head as the climax.

  • amen

  • It's funny how the 5 Death wish films alternate the settings:

Death Wish was in New York

Death Wish II was in LA

Death Wish 3 was back in New York

Death Wish 4: The Crackdown was back in LA

Death Wish 5: The Face of Death

    was back in New York.

  • This was Jeff Goldblum's first film as one of the thugs.

  • Yup.

  • Sly is the best, however isn't he too old already and too built to play Paul Kersey that Charles Bronson played in 1974? When is the remake coming out 2010? My favorite Death Wish is Death WIsh 4: The Crackdown.

  • Charles Bronson <3

  • Is the new version going to take place in NYC? That would not resonate nearly as well, as crime in New York is still relatively low.

Should probably take place in Detroit or Oakland or St. Louis.

  • This was a great movie and 100% accurate - I lived in NYC for 5 years.

All the remakes, copies were no good.

This has the authentic feel, how regular people feel about urban disorder, crime, with clear racial components.

The Bronson character isn't especially violent, just response to "certain situations".

The Western, pioneer theme works well.

    Excellent - not overly violent.

  • LIAM NEESON SHOULD BE PAUL KERSEY

  • STALLONE WILL BE AWESOME IN THIS

  • This movie is great! Even the second and third were decent sequels in my opinion. I haven't seen the fourth or fifth yet b/c you tube took them down, or at least the fourth one. My point is that this movie is a classic. So why do they want to re-make this movie?

  • Sounds like George Kennedy narrating the trailer.

  • He didn't get his revenge on the guys who raped his daughter because the movie tries to make a point. No matter how many criminals he kills, he never kills the ones responsible for the rape. The movie (or at least the book) tries to show how pointless is Kerseys rampage. But i think the movie ended up being more pro vigilantism in the end.

  • God, this movie was so fucking brutal.

  • if you've never seen bronson in MACHINE GUN KELLY , YOU AIN'T SEEN BRONSON. 5 STARS!!

  • R.I.P Charlie.

  • perfect Charles Bronson

  • that slurring idiot has no business trying to butcher this classic

  • One hundred percent correct!!!!!

  • Sly can't come close to the quality performance of Bronson.

  • this would have been real disturbing if jack lemmon was paul instead of chuck

  • ooooooooo fuck

  • great sound track herbie handcock.

  • Best movie ever. Charles Bronson is my hero! Great ending

  • This movie and Charles Bronson freakin Rocks... we need of these type of movies nowadays.

  • I am sick of Liberal knobs that are more interested in protecting Murderers, rapists and violent offenders than they are in protecting the ordinary decent person.Any offender that tries to enter your house with a weapon deserves to die,old school justice.

  • he should have killed those guys

  • Guilani and Putaki pertain to this movie, because it was liberal polices, like no death penalty, and very easy and short paorole by Mario Cuomo, and slap on the wrist jail terms that led to this level of crime, that's why the move was so popular. And it is not racist, there were many articles at the time, that in black neighborhoods where this movie was shown, the audiences stood and cheered, because the minority communtiies were more the victim of this type of crime then whites...

  • No, Guiliani wasn't Major of NYcity until 1992, and Mario Cuomo, a libertard, always kept vetoing the death penalty, which was abolish in NY in 1963, but finally brought back by Gov Putaki, between the option of using the death penalty and Guilani's brillance, crime dropped like a rock duriing Guilani's administration, something everyone in nycity said could never be done. 9/11 worked against him in the primaries, because it overshadowed his real succes in NYcity...

  • I agree Watcher. Crime dropped not only in NY but the nation. It was a national trend.

  • Mr Bronson let me tell you one hard mother fucker IRP Charly

  • Rudolph Guiliani cleaned up all this sh!t and he didn't any respect in the primary's 9/11 over shadowed everything, his real accoplishment was bringing murders down from over 2000 a year to under 300, R. Guiliani should be our Attorny General now, even as an Italian American, he got more convictions against the Mafia, even more than Robert Keneddy who was shot down by them.........

  • And how does this pertain to this movie?

Was Guiliani mayor of New York City back in the early 1970s?

And, even if a politician was responsible for getting crime down, it does not negate a person's own individual responsibility for personal safety and the right to effective self-defense (including using a gun against an attacker) to allow that responsibility to be observed, which, I believe, the movie is making commentary on, though Paul Kersey acts beyond self-defense by being the Vigilante.

  • You no your death wish movies pal. I leave Mick Winner out of it.

  • they shud get banecio del toro to play the lead, cuz he looks like bronson and cud b pretty badass

  • This was good, but the second one was better because he got revenge on the people that did the damage in that one. He didn't get the people that killed his wife in the first one. That would have been great.

  • No he didn't. The first muggers that killed Kersey's wife and traumatized his daughter were never caught at all, not even on the sequels. Plus, the first movie took place in New York City.

The second movie takes place in Los Angeles, for one thing.

  • The answer to that one is the the wonerfull Sir Micheal Winner he must of been fucking a bitch in that hud.

Or just like the weather better perhaps both.

  • I would say a better reason would be the producers.

The first was produced by Dino DeLaurentiis.

The 2nd (as well as the 3rd, and 4th) was produced by Menahem Golan and Yoram Globus (Cannon Films).

The 5th was produced by Damian Lee under 21st Century Film Corporation, which was founded by Menahem Golan.

  • It is true he didnt get vengeance for his wifes murder and his daughters rape, but in the second film his daughter was raped and killed, and he got revenge for that one.....

  • There is no greater vendetta a man can have than the one created by having his wife and daughter raped, murdered, and then spray-painted upon by Jeff Goldblum!

I love the sock-full-o-quarters meets creep's face, classic Bronson!

  • These are just like East Cambridge church wall junkies!

  • Escape from New York was an alternate reality. I think it's what was considered cyberpunk or something similar to that style of ambiance.

  • Even if Death Wish is never remade they could still make a new one. It wouldn't have to be Kersey, it could be some other citizen wishing for death because he has nothing left to lose.

  • Stallone is to do Rambo 5 anyway...why not make it JOHN RAMBO's DEATH WISH?

kills 2 birds with a stone

  • For real? I'm not big on grandpa Rambo. Rambo already wishes to die. That's why he's a soldier of fortune. Rambo loves the thrill of suicide missions. I Guess Rambo could move to a city and the Chief Sheriff from First Blood could be the chief sheriff that extorts Rambo with threats of prosicution. Just like the chief constable did in Bronson's 3rd Death Wish. Stalone just needs a bad haircutt and porrly trimmed mustache.

  • I can't wait to see the new Death Wish!!!

  • It was cancelled.

  • I'm actually kind of glad about that.

Hollywood does not need any more remakes.

And there can only be one Paul Kersey on the big screen, and that's Charles Bronson.

  • think this was the worse deathwish (next to 5) only because he never killed the guys that killed his wife. So he never really got his vengeance. In part 2 he specifically after the thugs who raped his daughter. Part II and part IV were the best, I think.

  • This was a great film despite its controversial views. I think at one point we all have some kind of feelings of vigilantism if we are ever victimized by crime. This film possessed an incredible story even though it may be fictional. Along with that, the soundtrack produced by the legendary Herbie Hancock made it even more exciting and really put you in the mood. Good job on this trailer. I have seen it many times and never get tired of it!

    Ken Palmer

  • the blood pouring out from charles monson's shoulder: hi dave, watch the porno video mathboy sent

dave: I can't, there's a cheap ebony slut here and I want to give a good impression

zapped guy: oh please, like alicia keys is gonna email u asking you to suck her nipples while yogendra is reporting your forums abuse to youtube

Grace: hahaha, mt clit laughs at him, what an asshole

ciber owner: the mic is not working piece of shit, now get on your knees and keep blowing me

  • Hell I even tried making Paul Kersey on Saints Row 2 and he's tearing up the streets!

  • Great movie one of the best films of all time stallone is great but he cant make DEATH WISH LIKE BRONSON CAN NO WAY PERIOD

  • charles bronson is the shit!!! ill take him and clint eastwood to clean up the streets of my town anyday.

  • This is a fun movie to watch, as long as you skip the rape scene in the beginning.

  • please report youtube user

    nicesunset778

    as i did please thankyou

  • hehehe is this all you do all day lol dame you need a life

  • Little fagboy is the best the zioslime have to offer. All the ziobots know is how to spam with references to excrement. After all, they are feces, and therefore speak like experts. :)

    Oh, and haaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

    LOL

  • stop spaming mr shit4brains

  • nicesunset778 sucks everybody's cock on utube,lol! :)

  • I like how the bad guys never got killed in this film

  • What a dated movie.

NYC is nothing like that today.

  • we'll see about 09 maybe it will be like the good old dayz

  • Your right of course.

"Escape from New York" is by far the most accurate depiction of life in New York.

  • The first Death Wish was good unfortunetly the sequels were pretty terrible. Lots of action with no story. At least the first one tried to have a story and Bronson character was interesting.

  • There was only one Charles Bronson, just like there was only one Steve McQueen and one Lee Marvin. Those Guys were Cinema Legends and NOT one of todays Stars can match them.

However, Sylvester Stallone is an icon in his own right and would be good for a remake of this classic 1970s Thriller.

  • Stallone can play the everyman style role that Paul Kersey is. He's played the everyman role enough times like in Rocky I,II,V,VI, First Blood,Over The Top,Cliffhanger etc. He'll fit in to the Paul Kersey role quite well.

  • This movie makes me feel soooooooo good!

I absolutely luuuuv the look on Charles Bronson's face (while he fills it!) at the 1:29 mark; when the police make a television plea for the vigilante to turn himself in.

Ten years after this movie was released, NYC would have a real-life vigilante who could've run for mayor:

"Yes, I have five bucks for each of you." - Bernhard Goetz

Take heed, you thievin' punks! Your next victim just might have a bullet for you!

  • i think its well out of order that HMV did not have death wish in the store ! and death wish 2 3 4 5 are not avalible some deleted ! Charles Bronson was bloody good like clint eastwood !

  • dude i managed to get death wish 1 in tescos of all places and it was like 4 pound

  • Had it on video for year then got it on DVD for £2.88/ Wish they'd bring out a definitive collection out with all 5 movies on it with shit loads of extras.

  • I had 1 & II on Region 1 and yes, I believe the UK one is cut. Get the one from the US.

  • Deathwish II is certainly cut. And its badly cut to. Ill send for the US one.

  • I'd like to be like Charles Bronson for kill to all muggers!...

  • everyone wants to be Paul Kersey - if just for a day !

  • ownage.

  • deathnote

  • sly is going to direct and star in the remake.

  • im glade some one said it DEATH WISH WILL BE... no one picked up on it

  • i think sly will be great in it. look how he was able to ressurect the rocky/rambo franchises.

  • Deathwish and Deathwish 2 were good films but after that they made to many of them.

  • Charles should have started the Make a Death Wish foundation. That's where kids who get picked on can have a volunteer blow the shit out of any bully they choose.

  • he was the guy...rip Charles Bronson...IN FINNISH VERSION THIS WOULD BE GUY WHOS NAME IS JORI

  • Death Wish 2 most be the worst, most brutal Death Wish movie in the serie.

  • One of the men who kill his wife is played by Jeff Goldblum.

  • Damn I really need to get this movie. I've seen the sequels a whole bunch of times but I always miss the first one when they play it on TV.

  • i like how kersey never found the guys who killed his wife

  • I'm not sure why you like that, but it's similar to Batman and I think the Punisher too.

  • No, I mean't "like" in a sarcastic manner.

  • the UK is fucked, wouldnt happen in the Us coz they know u would fuckin shoot them, might not b right b what iz???

  • i will go with that, what sick fucking state are we in were someone cant sleep at 130 am coz fucking cave dwellers that moved in next door think its ok to have a fucking bar b q and shout and laugh??

  • bRONSON IS VICARIOUSLY DOING WHAT WE ALL WANT TO SEE HAPPEN BECAUSE OF OUR ULTRA WEAK JUSTICE SYSTEM.

  • Can anyone find a death wish dvd box set cos i cant! Complain to the studio, someone set up an on-line petition

  • Long live Paul Kersey!
