by the way those markers that jaime was talking about are called sheer markers now that does not mean that there is a tornado but the radar is indcating possible rotation with very strong winds
Some new information... I just found out tonight that there may have been a tornado oustide of Lewisburg in Preble county. The NWS is going there Saturday to check out the damage and make a decision. I will let everyone know when I find out.
You will also see that New Live Doppler 7 Radar did pick up on this rotation.
It is all built into the same system. I think the Baron B.T.I. information is an overall estimate based on all radar sources no matter what they are showing (Doppler 7 or NWS Wilmington)
Last weekend, where I live, L.A., CA, had 2 or 3 storms coming from the north and do have warnings similar to yours, but it is mostly for flash flood, thunderstorm, and winter storm (snow in mountains). We did had a rare tornado warning for the Long Beach area (south of L.A.) because NWS dectected 60 mph winds, but it is relatively weaker in comparison to the ones where you are.

One question. If there are 25 counties where the storm was over where you are, how big in miles are these areas in each county?

It varies in size but the warnings basically went from Lima, OH to just north of Lexington, KY.
