interesting to note how different this match was than back when the two teams met in 2002. Granted, that was a world cup game that the US didn't necessarily NEED to win, but it's still striking how much better the Poles were than the Americans that day. It seems to be just the opposite now.

Yes you are correct they did horrible in the euros they lost what they had however thr road to the euros Polands campaign was great expecially if its compared to other qualifying times, they played extremely well and turned heads, if they would have not lost what they had they would have beaten Croatia and Austria, as well as doing better against Germany.

Yeah, I watch that game. One of the most craziest football matches I have ever seen. It's a shame that we dosen't have the american channels which showes the US games here in Norway. I have been a fan since I was a kid, but have only watch 2 US games. But I have two of the newest US jersey's. Those are hard to find here in Norway. But don't get me wrong, I do support Norway, but you know, they play like shit because the players dosen't seem to give a damn about our national team anymore.

I wish we could score in open play. Every thing seems to come from set-pieces, and you can't always rely on those.

Why is no one actually talking about THIS game. i think it was a great three goals and i have to say USA are getting better with every game. i think they're playing against spain and England next also. as for the commentators if you dont like it just listen to it in a different language. or mute it if you cant. simple solutions to "complex" disputes.

I love how people love the spanish announcers solely because they can yell "GOL" for 30 seconds, meanwhile they admit they have no idea what they are saying otherwise. How do you know that the Spanish announcers aren't saying stupider stuff than the American announcers? You have no idea what they are saying afterall. I do speak spanish, and I can't stand the Univision announcers. They are horrible and never say anything worthwhile to the game and as saYer said, incredibly biased and corrupt.

I have a degree in biology and I have learned from my studies that the genetics in Spanish announcers predispose them to be biased and corrupt. It's not their fault, they're just born biased and corrupt.

Also, they didn't and couldnt "buy" refs in the World Cup, in Champions League, in Super Cup, in European competitions. It's their top talent that keeps them winning on such stages. I would love to see some MLS players go to Series A. I think they'd love it if they could get there and they would learn so much...it'd be good for the USA.

Viktoria93PL: The USA is a huge sports nation and it is true that other sports get much attention: basketball, baseball and American football plus all the college versions of those games! But "soccer" has become very big in the USA despite all the other sports and they really do have some talent now. Finally! By the way, FIFA reported that the USA has the most children in soccer of any nation--can you believe that? When they get to high school age though--teens often get drawn to other sports.
