When you move your head forward and backward, virtual head in the game is moving also in that way. But, it's still possible to use original zoom also.. it works as magnifier for your view.

When you are zooming, do you do that with placing your head closer to the screen? Or du you use zoom in/out for that?

most people playing via hyper lobby, actual version is merge of all games from IL2 series called "1946" with 4.08 patch..
there is also 4.09 but it's beta...

you need 1946 + download 4.08 patch, and hyper lobby software for multiplay.
