That lever you was talking about controlled the shutters mounted in front of the radiator. They probably are long gone by now though.

Cool model A!!! Its a nice find man, you can try pouring ATF fluid down into into the cylinders, let it soak in for a few days, usually works.

got it unstuck. just waiting until summer to put it back together and start it up

those arent the pressed steel rims. those are the nice cast iron ones! i think they look better. good luck with it!
