It's one of the strongest attacks in the game, peroid. And unlike Ideon, it doesn't need to wait until Guy's health is in the red to pull off. Course, in Alpha 3, you could only use the Goldion Crusher once a map.

Not like W, where you could spam it if you had the EN for it.

wait...u mean ideon can only use ideon gun when its hp is in red? well i know its really difficult to get GGG's hp in the red coz it can evade almost 50~60% of enemies' attack and protect shade/wall negate almost all attack to zero...

i do play W...but i still use the GFG now...

Yeah, Idion can only unlock its best attack when its health is in the red. It can unlock the second best attack when you lose enough allies tho. But, no, in Super Robot Wars games, Idion is actually considered a terrible character because of the fact you have to get him so low in health and by the time you do that, you should've won the map by then. If not, well, nice knowing you.

I thought of a mecha that has infinite energy but its main attacks are fixed damage, and its powerful final attacks depend on will. One of them you can only use BELOW a certain amount, and getting there means dodging attacks, but the more powerful one you must have really high will for, and that means taking damage. Against standard enemies it tends to have a 50% dodge rate, but will affects that greatly, meaning it tends to go back and forth.

Would that be too difficult to make use of?

But Goldion Crusher's power is nowhere near high enough to balance the severe limitation, like with GX's Satellite Cannon in Alpha Gaiden and Z.

have you played this game before? in this stage, ideon was keeping the dimension stabled while the ggg goes in. ideon is a god, that's why it's called legendary space god even in this game.

What par of... "thaks to ideon the dimension got stable and thax to that the GGG could kick asses in the replyverse" you didnt get. Even in the alpha universe.... whit all those powerfull mechas.... even in the same universe that a fully functional mazinkaiser, a fully functional shin getter one and some other overpowered units, ideon still has the title of "legendary space god"..... and thats even recognized by the very pilots of some of the other strong units in the game. Ideon = God.
