  • Come to Canada :D

  • I think that for alot of people a cellphone is gratifying, it instantly makes you happy; you pay & immediate recieve the service you paid for but with healthcare, most people end up paying hundreds of thousands of dollars into their healthcare only to recieve sub-standard care.

ie: at my old job I had health insurance, I paid 20$ for it every week for 3 yrs. that's about 1000$. when I got sick and had to be rushed to ER & almost died my ins. didn't cover it.

  • @darknight0dc post script: I meant to say about 1000$ per year. so about 3000 total.

    (sorry)

  • Universal healthcare will only drive up costs on both ends without providing a quantifiable benefit to the people it insures unless the industry itself is retooled. Beyond that, the easier you make it to access and use affordable health care, the more people will use it out of want rather than necessity and your rates go up yet again. There is a finite number of doctors, a finite amount of resources. Simply passing a bill demanding universal coverage does nothing to address the core problems.

  • @surfingsuicune i agree on alot of your points. but unfortunately the wealthy have a death grip on American government. anything that doesn't benefit those who are ridiculously wealthy will be ignored thanks to our system of pay-offs and party politics. but that's a totally different tangent.

my point? I agree w/ you.

  • As a self employed artist, unless I work full time job with a corporation I cannot BUY health care. NOBODY will sell me a health or dental plan. The scam is that they want you to slave at a substandard wage for 40 plus hours a week with no time off to run your business ... before they will let you buy a plan, the GROUP plan. They don't want creative independent business people succeeding so they starve them out by refusing to let them buy a healthl plan. Its the rich keeping the rich, rich.

  • @socialmedic I am a student (an art student). I have two horrible jobs that border on slave labor, and I just got dental insurance (for about 30$ per month) which covers the bare minimum of my needs, if I wanted bare minumum health insurance it would be another 60$ per month. and this is the insurance offered through one of my jobs. it's ridiculous. I can barely afford to eat and put gas in my tank; I deffinitely can't afford 90 for bad health care.

  • if i get the samsung rogue do i need a data plan and what does it do?

  • no body wants to spend there money on helth care becuse they dont get sic all the time.whats the point of paying if u don't even get sick that much.$100 a month for the cell phone data plan makes alot of sence becuse u use it alot. $193 a month makes no sence to pay if u can go to a privet hospital that does not need helth insurance.you dont get sick 193 times a month.

  • There is no such thing as a data plan for your phone here in Saudi Arabia you even get a free sim card :)

  • does anybody know what the data plan prices are? please reply

  • i dont know if i have health insurance or not im a kid

  • dnt read this(cuz it really wrks). u will gt kissd on the nearest frieday by the love of ur life. 2mara wll b the bst day of ur life hwever if you dnt post ths comment 2 at least 3 vids u will die withn 2 days... sorry i hate these things

  • Not to poke fun at you or anything Noah, but you advertise cell phones and expensive cell phone plans every time you recommend or review a cell phone. You don't advertise health care, because that's not your profession. Your reviews are great, but it's not a good idea to put down the things that allow you to buy healthcare.

  • Health Care isn't free in Canada...lol. You pay same as anywhere else.

  • easy answer ...lol... live in canada...free healthcare and yes canadians live longer on average than americans...sorry...it is cold here in the winter though...

  • this country is not rich... if youve been paying attention were are kind of... oh... trillions in debt. i totally agree with what you are saying though.

  • mirrastyle4524, we have so much fucking money. but it is being spent on the wrong shit. billions and billions of dollars have been spent on the war in the middle east. yes we have debt, but we shouldnt have any if there was no stupid war

  • i know what your saying but people have to stop blaming the war for everything. there are other factors in play.

  • thts absolutly right, there are many other factors, but war is by far the biggest most useless

  • yeah stop blaming it all on the war for goodness sake. honestly one more time...

  • Guns or Butter. Heathcare is on the butter side.

  • yep its all about money all the health care industries care about is money not how healthy people are. if you watch sicko you would see what im talking about

  • i think that you bring up a great point. the only thing is that the people who have health care are.. well... healthy. its $190 for someone who is healthy. Like you said, it was almost twice as expensive in new york, so it would be maybe 4x more expensive for an obese man in new york, that smokes! i dont know if im making any sence right now, but if anybody knows what im talking about, you get what im saying.

  • I do not have health insurance, we don't have the money. I do not have a cell phone, I chose to get rid of my cell phone T.T so I can save up money for a car.

  • well its like saying if you have alot of money why buy a big house and struggle with money when you can buy a small house and have alot of money left over

  • Even though it does seem a little ridiculous at first glance, most places that are open 24/7 need to have locks on their doors due to city regulations.

  • I hope you laugh first before you put any mental power into my comment..lol

  • Yea!! Thats just like 7-11 always open yet they still have door locks... I Just Don't Get It I Just don't

  • very true, however there is a difference between overweigth and muscled lol

but right your concept is extremely true

  • very true very true

  • this got me thinking noah...

good question..why do i have an expansive data plan and no health care ...?

    wow...

  • I pay out of my pocket, because most employers don't want to pay for coverage, especially when you are young. Kravvykrav the coverage you get do they cover NYC, cause its pretty expensive in NYC. My phone bill is pretty reasonable $83-$87/month on a family plan!!!The problem with healthcare is no one wants to tackle that issue, livng in the USA where you have kids that are uninsured tells you its an issue no one wants to tackle

  • i have a cell and my health care... i get it throu work... its only 40 a month and thats every thing but vision... and thats b/c walmart already has a vision center that i get a huge discount on

  • ya over here in canada its free so all i worry about is my phone bill but if i lived in the u.s i would pay for both cause my family has good jobs and can afford it

  • I could give up my cell but, I need it for work. No cell, No work, no money... anyway, I pick food over health care. No hospital can force you to pay for health care that you really need... I had basic health care and it doesn't cover jack s*&*, but a check up... that I can get at a free clinic.

  • Me have kaiser 2

  • I live in California too, wanna pay for my healthcare?

  • I"m Canadian. Our healthcare is free (minus expenses). But we get accepted no matter what for basic coverage. I hope that Obama might do something similar to the canadian or british systems.

  • damn that is deep man... and i agree

  • just another way for the government to suck money out of us..

  • in canada it's FREE!

  • this is about the only thing that makes me proud to be French!

  • dude, wtf ? from cellphones you jumped to giving us life lessons ... c'mon ...

  • Gotta go to Canada man!

  • oh ya cheers to a fellow canuck!! canada ftw

  • I have Health care and it's Free for me! Also I have a $81.92 cell phone plan with 3 phones, 1 has internet and txt messaging, 450 min Unlimited Nights and weekends and Rollover min!

  • oh, and healthcare is messed up, some company refuse coverage for people with certain ailments, like cancer, or obesity, cause its understood they will use the insurance more so. at leas wit ha cell phone, you can depend on it

  • healthcare is something you can do without, sort of. like, healthcare, and car insurance both bother me cause let's say i had a plan for a year with my car insurance right? and i never get in an accident at my fault, so basically the car insurance company basically gets a free money

  • we need to fight for a NHS (national healthcare system),they have it in the u.k.,france, canada ,etc . it means higher taxes but it means that everyone takes care of every one.

they even have it in cuba and they don't even have a main export to make money off.

  • i have no health care and yes i spend 150 bucks a month on our cell phone plan. basically it all comes down to me being a freelance photographer who doesn't make that much as is and my wife who doesn't make that much either. every plan we've tried to find was a horrible plan that cost about 250 bucks extra a month. credit cards are eating us up.. everything is more expensive.. things add up...

  • i'm canadian bro so my health care is FREE MOTHA FUCKA!!!

  • socialism?

  • Two words: Instant Gratification

  • I live in Canada. We all have healthcare.. this is why I also have a 65$/month data plan

  • i dont have health insurance. im only 14 :D! and i would have an iphone with a data plan but my mom was apparently "tipsy" when she said that i could get one.

  • the company i work at give out health care and company phones so i guess i'm one of the lucky ones

  • In Canada we have all health care ;-) and a 3 years cellphone contract ;-(

  • i have health insurance and an i phone 3g plan so i think ime all set good points on this video

  • speak on it Noah

  • i have neither! -_-

  • i don't need health insurance I'm indestructible :)

  • thats why i live in canada:)

  • id give the phone up Americans are backwards and im from Detroit so no American hater jokes

  • dude sign up for medicaid or free health insurance. even if its not completely free, theyll cover most of the bill.

  • Uhhh...for one, a lot of health care plans are HORRIBLE!!! Two, live a healthy life style and you take a lot of the risk involved. Three, sometimes no matter how good your coverage it is, it just isn't enough.

  • im 14

  • I live in Canada...so geuss what...I get it for free..he..he..he..he

  • so what u live in canada its cold as shit there it sucks

  • chill the fuck out, dont hate cause you have to pay for health care with your welfare checks

  • faaiz

  • well i am only a kid but i know that my parents have a very good health care plan

  • the health care in Massachusetts is the best :D you have to have it is you are over 18 yrs of age or you will be taxed a lot but it is so easy to get and if you are an a low income you get a low rate for health care LOOK it up for more info!!!!!!1

  • Even if you are paying for health care it does not mean you will get it. Health insurance company's denie expensive treatments resulting in many preventable death just to save money. So even if you have health insurance you may not be a safe as you think. We can change that. We need a single payer non for profit health care system and eliminate the need for health insurance company's. If you agree with me look into H.R. 676.

  • i dont get why the states still doesnt have free health care

  • Universal Health Care is the worst thing ever thought of.

With Universal Health Care, i'd have to wait months just to get a doctor to help me for an injury or anything of the sort.

Universal Health Care should never be put in the states. Sadly, this liberal Obama might do this.

  • No actually, Obama wants AFFORDABLE, not universal, health care....idiota

  • ask president Bush

  • luckly the retard isnt in charge anymore

  • yeah i know huh, obama!

  • that is the simple answer

  • Terrible idea. Why should healthcare be free?

Is food free? Is clean water free? Why do we get charged for bottled water? I would argue water and food and shelter are more necessary to life than healthcare. Hell, the LACK of one of those things usually results in the healthcare issue --> malnutrition, obesity, etc.

  • PROUD TO BE CANADIAN

  • proud to be mexican

  • lol

  • its a shame that the US is the only country without universal health care

  • My health Care is free for me and my family. I am in the US military.

  • support our troops

  • its great to have free health care in Canada :D but also lucky to live in it...

  • dude you pretty much need a cell phone to function as a normal teen nowadays. theres no pay phones anywhere, i cant remember phone numbers, if people need to get at me they can, and i get lost a lot.. as for insurance i never really get sick besides colds and i dont go around playing in traffic so the cellphone is more useful to me right now

  • I'm lovin these thought provoking videos. It's a very flawed society we live in. I'd say the problem is in the media. From deceptive commercials to pop music and tv, life seems like it'll be easy and work itself out. We're growing up thinking we won't need to work as hard or get an advanced education.

  • that's very inspirational! i have come to like technology because of you, but maybe it's not the technology i like, it's you! there should be more people like you because as hopeless as it seems, i continually hope for a better world ad try to spread good energy! people are too selfish and only look for instant gratification, which obviously, doesn't last too long. keep up the good work!

  • oh ya
