  • lol luf this song

  • So the animations existed before the movie.

  • @satinsguard Yes

  • those 3 people who hit the dislike need to fuck off

  • I sentence 3 people to be exposed before their peers!

  • why is the footage at 5:06 so much higher quality then the rest of the footage of this concert?

  • Comment removed

  • the way those 2 people dislikes this video, fills me with the urge to defecate!

  • My lifes dream would be to teach a course on the wall in school because i feel everyone in this world should know what it means to have real problems this album is beutiful remarkable... PERFECT and i only wish to show other people that i want that to be my lifes purpose.

  • "Goodmorning, The Worm, your Honour!"

  • two people were caught showing feelings

  • tear down the wall!booooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooom!

  • TEAR DOWN THE WALL!

  • Comment removed

  • 2 people wont be waking up tomorrow

  • @dman4357 no two people are still stuck in their walls and was not put on trial

  • 2 people are crazy, toys in the attic

  • EPIC

  • I like how the man on which the Wall centers around's name was Pink Floyd.

  • @spudmuffin99 Nope his name was roger waters

  • @spudmuffin99 and hes a fucking genius

  • if the movie The Wall came out in 1982, how did they get the scenes? the footage was done already?

  • @musicdork4ever Gerald Scarfe made the animation for the tour and the album cover. This animation was put in the movie. So, to answer your question, the animation was drawn before the movie.

  • @LeeHOswald0112 oh ok. cool! thanks :)

  • @musicdork4ever Pink Floyd is magic. They are so epic they traveled into the future and got them!

  • @nilsoner1 I can believe that :)

  • @THEPAUL411 They were made of cardboard they used them in all their shows

  • got hooked on pink floyd at age 16 when a buddy of mine asked me to go and see "the wall"...that was nearly 30 years ago and i still love them as much as ever. got to know every note to 7 albums. only true floyd fans that apreciate them as much as me are aloud to sing them around me and if they get one note wrong, I shut them up

  • funniest line:

the way you make them suffer, your exquiset white mother, gives me the urge to DEFAECATE!!

  • Hmm, i wonder if those bricks are reusable.

  • whats up with kids that come on Pink floyd videos braggin about how old they are? its stupid...but anyways, I remember when I was a kid...watchin the movie with my dad all the time...these cartoons freaked me OUT!! bad hahaha Pink Floyd forever!

  • @Coopersboy7

we brag because we are the vast minority that actually appreciate good music

    for example - pink floyd

  • @9t9t3 yeah but...like Im 18, and have been listening to Pink Floyd the day I was born...but I dont go around bragging about it...but I do agree that its good the younger generation does appreciate works of art and their makers, like Pink Floyd.

  • @Coopersboy7 im 20 and the wall is one of the few albums/movies that freak me out. i love it and has a great message

  • the riff at 3:53 is my favorite riff EVER

  • 1 was bad but 2 dislikes....This will not do...CALL THE SCHOOLMASTER AT ONCE!

  • Best use of stage props ever.

  • This is one of those few cases that I actually prefer the album version :/ I think the album version of when the guitar comes in , is better

  • Man I wish Roger could still do this.

  • This is a great song. Even though, I think that it's a strange idea to build a wall before the scene.

  • 2 people have to go on trial for disloyalty and treason

  • im tired of all these kids saying there age and that they like this music who cares its common people of all ages like these music

  • We need more bands like Pink Floyd today. I'm 16 and I hate modern music.

  • @isuk404 me too im 13

  • @isuk404 That's nothing. I'm 12 years old, and have loved the Floyd since I was 9 years old.

  • @HateIronMaiden What does age has to do with the music? What matters is that you like it.

  • 2 people were hammer them

  • All those different voices Roger makes just makes me wanna go beserk and assault him out of love.

  • Pink Floyd is made up of several divine gods. I'm sure of it. How else could a band be so splendidly genius?

  • I love The Wall so much. The whole album. And The Wall movie.

  • i saw this live 2 weeks ago and it was AMAZING. they have improved this trial so much, it's amazing. it's all 3d and amazing. completely lifechanging

  • disliike comments never will have like buttons because floyd is best

  • "Oh... for fuck's sakes, stop letting off fireworks & shouting & screaming, I'm trying to sing a song! I mean I don't care, if you don't want to hear it, you know... fuck it. I'm sure there are a lot of people here who do want to hear it. Why don't you just be quiet? You want to let your fireworks off go outside & let them off out there. And if you want to shout & scream & holler go do it out there, but I'm trying to sing a song that some people want to listen to it. I want to listen to it."

  • according to what i know, they were using projectors back then

    now it is CGI

  • exhilarating

  • MARAVILHOSO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • this is absolutely my favourite song of the album...coz it's so damn weird :D

  • @myboomstick it was written with Kurt Weill & Bertolt Brecht in mind.

  • this song fills me with urge me to defecate

  • I saw Roger Waters: The Wall live in Philadelphia on nov 9th...and holy shit! what an experience! The crowd, the show, the music..my mind is permanently blown. Being a teenager living in this day and age, the possibility of seeing The Wall live only ever was the thing of fantasies for me...but the second Waters appeared on stage I was like Holy shit! It's Roger Waters in the fucking flesh! *pun intended* no pixels or old worn down videos and audio tracks, nono this is the real deal man!

  • @ZeppelinxOfxLed I waited 30 years until today

  • @ZeppelinxOfxLed I wanted to go to that sooooooo bad!!!

  • @ZeppelinxOfxLed

I saw him last tuesday in Denver! Also being a teenager, my mind was destroyed out of the sheer glory. I immediately stood up and started yelling when he walked out, and then a bunch of people around me told me to "sit down" and I was like, That's god damn Roger Waters, and he's going to perform the motherfucking Wall, and you want me to SIT DOWN? Hell no! It was beautiful. Just. Fucking. Beautiful.

Just like when I saw the Who, too. Pete live and in person is a sight to behold.

  • Fuck Yeah!!!! I´m Crazy!!!!!!

  • this song makes me so happy

  • (Now relating to this video specifically)

I really wish I could've gone to see The Wall when he was playing in toronto D=

    truly a masterpiece

  • o___o

How is it that the music of Pink Floyd has been so badly misinterpreted that EVERYONE automatically assumes that each song is all about drugs? Seriously, I can't go to ONE SINGLE Pink Floyd video without seeing a comment saying shit like "OH MAN THIS IS AWESOME WHEN YOUR HIGH"...

Shows who the true fans are.

(Seriously? Live footage of The Trial and people are still all I see is people talking about how they get high to this -_-)

So much brilliance in the music, and they all miss it.

  • @sobeAdam I know! I definitely agree with you, man! I consider myself a true Pink Floyd fan as well. You are ABSOLUTELY RIGHT!!! I HATE seeing comments like that, "Drugs, drugs, drugs..." One time, a girl who was stoned told me that "Comfortably Numb" was about Heroin. I just wanted to smack that girl after she said that, she sees herself as the "guru" of Pink Floyd. GURU MY ASS!!! The Wall was based on isolation 30 years ago. Now, 2010, it's about sending a political statement.

  • @ghosthunter2010100 people can be so ignorant but still the inspiration for the wall was things like this ; people lighting off fireworks screaming whistling and shouting and beating each other up, drunkeness, the audeince couldnt really see or hear anything as seen by roger waters

  • @TEMPmichaelhansen I know. Most of that stuff happened in huge venues like football stadiums. The show in Montreal 1977 was considered to be the worst show ever for the band because of the crowd's behavior obviously. Then, Roger spat in the face of a person. So, yes, I understand why he wanted to build a wall across the stage.

  • feeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelings, showing feelings of an almost human nature.... this will not do.

  • This video on the wall was enough to make ya go crazy on 4 tabs of acid.

  • call the school-monsteeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrr!!!!! = )

  • I can't believe Pink Floyd did not make a proper recording of this concert. They must of been on more drugs than the audience

  • @zenrunner5000 the recording was originally meant for the film, sadly the producers didnt think it would be cinematic so they cut it from the original and decided to start from scratch but spice it up with the animations from this concert

  • The music is not live, because they couldnt fit an orchestra, and if they put only the orchestra on playback there would probably be some inconsistency between the music and vocals.

  • Just saw Roger Waters on friday in Chicago, it was unbelievable.

  • Comment removed

  • @Rush1013 awesome. saw him last night here in NJ and it was phenomenal.

  • I saw this LIVE Last thursday in Toronto it was Incredible! and i saw Geddy Lee After! Best night of my life!

  • i love the scream he does when hes the mom lol

pink floyd forever, one of the greatest bands ever!!

  • I love this song so much that I named my account after it!

  • @WormYourHonor64 I respect you.

  • @WormYourHonor64 haha, I can see that:P

  • f*ck, on floyd's videos the "dislike" button souldn't even exist

  • @nimatek667 or you should AIDS if you click it

  • @nimatek667 I am with you more than you will ever know!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I am going to dedicate my whole page too Pink Floyd!

  • Is Rog actually singing this live?

  • @ak47dragunov no its updated audio from a cd matched with the film, not actually him singing it. But he did sing during the shows

  • i wish i could be there.

  • when i see this live, i will be chanting tear down the wall with them!

  • this is the most impressive show ever created. Film can't capture the feeling of being there.

  • Roger Waters meets my definition of genius. Create albums like Dark Side of the Moon, The Wall, Animals, and Wish You Were Here and you can be a genius also.

  • @stimpp The best is that he only came op with "the wall" by having a circle drawed out of bricks.

  • storywise, this song really ties the others together. it's truly like movie music. musicwise, isn't very creative but the lyrics prove otherwise.

  • Cant wait for the world tour !!! , I have already mi tickets for Madrid and Barcelona :D !

  • why did roger say im crazy

  • @bovb902 Roger didn't consider himself crazy. He only said, "I am crazy." because it was part of the lyrics in the song. This number is about the fictional character, "Pink" who puts himself on trial because of the person he has become after building a metaphorical wall in his mind. It's the character, "Pink" who considers himself crazy, not Roger. So, did I answer your question well or am I off. If my answer to your question is incorrect, I apologize.

  • @denman8496 This song summarizes the whole history and meaning of the whole masterpiece that the wall is. The ones that underrate this song is just because they did not get the message.

Its among my top 3 favourites of the album.

  • Have any of you ever noticed that the animation sequence is a little different from The Wall (film)? Here in the live performance, you actually "see" a creature shouting, "GO ON JUDGE, SHIT ON HIM!!!" from 4:29-4:31. Also, during the chant, the visual images are different from the film. So, in the movie, the creature who shouts, "GO ON JUDGE, SHIT ON HIM!!!' was omitted and the original visual ending was replaced with previous scenes from the movie. So, please respond if anybody understands.

  • Thanks to this video I have finally figured out what is quietly said after the line '...fills me with the urge to defecate!' at around 4:28. That voice calls out 'Go on judge, shit on him!.' I could never hear that on my CD.

  • @TheRockNRollFan

It doesn't say that on the album. It's a cut from Another brick in the wall, with the schoolmaster screaming "Don't do it!"

The "Shit on him" is an anomaly from the live show, me thinks.

  • @denman8496 totally

  • awesome set

  • 2010 wall concert here i come!

already got my ticket for the phoenix shoe ;D

  • is 1 guy doing all the voices?

    i fucking love the wall

  • I like to think Roger is also playing the trombone at the same time. Is there anything he can't do? Well, except consider national charactistics on oysters.

  • @PlankofWood1

i hope one day i could be half as awsome as roger waters

    then i could die happy

  • @PlankofWood1 agrred and i love those interviews (id like to think the oysters transcend national boundaries)

  • @PlankofWood1 Don't you mean, consider oysters to be within the boundaries of a national barrier?

  • I was there!!! Best gig ever - after that nothing ever seemed quite the same

  • The trial and outside the wall easily rivals dark side of the moons brain damage and eclipse as the greatest ending to an album ever!!!!.

  • who else could think of making a song like this other than pink floyd

    roger waters best composer ever!

  • @denman8496

You are right on...a brilliant conclusion to a most brilliant album.

  • Pink Floyd is one of the greatest bands to ever grace this Earth. Have you ever heard music that can make you visualize so much? This song is no exception; it is a true masterpiece.

  • @denman8496 it was really underrated? i would never of thought that lol

  • The animation used here was made before they made the film "The Wall"?

  • @AStopMotionChannel Umm, obviously not if they're using scenes from the movie. I've always been a fan of paying attention and getting the full details of shit before asking questions. Why don't you give that a shot?

  • @FiresOvHell What the hell, dude? I was just asking an honest question that I didn't have an answer to. How about you don't decide to be an asshole to someone just asking a question? I would've prefered no answer at all if that's what I was going to get. Jeez.

  • Comment removed

  • @AStopMotionChannel A question that didn't need to be asked if you had just opened your eyes and looked at the animation. Your own inane question could have been answered by the same semi-functional brain that asked it. You could have saved yourself the time to type and a little bit of my sanity, instead you ask DUMB questions. You sir, are part of the downfall of this world.

  • @FiresOvHell Oh that's interesting.....I don't ever recall anyone inquiring as to what you're a fan of.

  • @FiresOvHell If someone had "the full details" they would never need to ask any questions at all would they? Therefore it can be concluded that, logically, no questions would ever be asked.

Btw Roger Waters is a maniac! (in a good way)

  • @dylan9236 As I said to the moronic douche who asked the question, time could have been saved if he had just looked at the animation. Want to defend morons like that? That's just fine. But let me just say that's like someone going to a movie and talking throughout the goddamn thing but periodically asking YOU what's going on. Pay some fucking attention and questions will answer themselves. Questions are important, but not stupid ones.

  • @FiresOvHell well actually you're the one that's a moron....these animations were made before the wall (movie)...the movie uses the animations that were made just for the concert, if you see dates the concert was in 1980...and the movie was released in 1982...the making of the movie was 1981, like i said these animations were just for the concert

  • @jerudoriginal91 You're partially correct. The Wall was originally intended to be a live show with the movie they were still going to make in the back. Only Roger Waters was going to star in it. But in the process of finishing up the CD, it was decided that it would be a film. That's when the animations were made. So the idea was originally for a live show, but the actual production of the animations was made for both.

  • I wanna see this in Hartford so fucking badly

  • i really feel the crazyness when i hear this song

  • rogerwatersdotcom/tour/ Check it out. I can't wait for Oct 15th to get here.

  • pink floyd has the sickest live concerts

  • who is singing apart from roger waters?

  • @qiarra its all roger waters except for the children singing, for example "crazy over the rainbow he is crazy"

  • ok thank you:)

  • @qiarra david dumb fuck

  • truly amazing!

now thats what i call ambitious rock show!

  • after seeing the movie, the whole album made perfect sense... i feel as if the album was telling my life

  • Thats a nice ending... good preformers with their light shows and videos

  • pure excelence to say the least.

  • Every time I hear this song I say to myself, "this must have been a lot of fun to preform live".

  • I really envy the people who went to this show, wish i was there! Why they didn't release a DVD with this show? I have the album (is there anybody out there) and it's awesome.

  • That's how you end a show!

  • "Good Morning your worm, your honour!" this is just the best, Domokon, thank you for putting this up, you have made a floyd fan very happy.

  • sounds just like the album.

  • this was the best concer ever saw on DVD

  • no dude, pink is getting shit on. it's the prosecutor who yells it

  • Pure Awesomeness

  • I sentence you to be exposed before your peers!

  • most inspired performance ever by a rock band. pure genious

  • dam ... amazing ... wish i were there ;)

  • me too.!

    ♥

  • Possibly. I assumed that since it was supposed to be a trial in his mind, it was someone who was observing in court.

  • @darthchaosofrspw2009

they don't say shit on him. but yes, it is the judge who says "fills me with the urge to defacate"

  • @chrismarshall1950

Yeah they do say that. After the judge says "fills me with the urge to defecate" You hear the in the background "Go on judge, shit on him!"

  • Genial !!

  • is the film ¬¬

  • Comment removed

  • it is a film being show during a live concert but i believe there actually singing the words during the concert (Roger Waters and David Gilmore)

  • @studawginc

The animation is from the movie. However, this is from 80 and the movie came out in 83, maybe 84.

Apparanty they used animation for the movie that they already had made for the tour.

  • 82 actually

  • I'm pretty sure the vocals on this song are all entirely Roger..but yeah pretty amazing stuff.

  • Yup, they are.

  • You not difference his voice?

  • y thankyou. ur very kind aren't you?

  • i LOVE pink floyd! this song is so amasing and so creepy!

  • If I could only go back in time once I would go see The Wall.

  • Same here...

  • Me too !

  • Me three! hell everyone would. lets all go back! oh waaaaaiiit... we cant.

  • @urbanmythDO9 If only I could go forward in time. Roger is going to tour the wall again in 2010/2011.
