Mara Jade is the coolest girl Jedi ever! I love her so much. I couldn't believe that she was kill in the "Legacy of The Force" it took me at lest three weeks to even pick up and read another Star Wars book. Every time I saw Jacen's name I wish I was there kicking his ass!

Darth Caidus fought her. The battle ended in him force pushing a pillar onto her or something like that. Luke felt her death the moment it happened.

Actually, I don't think there is a book for it. There is a comic book though. Its called "Union".

The proposal though is in i think visions of the future, one of the Timothy Zahn books. If you've not read any of his star wars series i highly recommend readin them, I felt his books were some of the more interesting ones i've read.
