When your commentating on the most important show and have to make the viewers care enough about the story lines to buy the payper views than you have be more serious, which cole is not being at the moment.

I personally cant stand Cole.....I find him so irratating to watch and to listen to that I dont care if I miss an episode of Raw or Smackdown. I use to watch religiously every week but now since this new found image of Cole's, I just dont care. It sounds as if he tries to be like Jesse Ventura from back in the day. Ventura was entertaining, Cole is definately NOT!!! The episode in which JR came back and Cole put him down was just plain stupid bitching. Somone please kick him in the throat!!

before i get flammed for defending Cole, please hear me out. I know he is a broken reacord today, but you can't blame him for doing his job. Sure it can't be the Cole who called Gurerrero vs Lesnar and made it that much more ledgendary, but that's because the booking of today is made by morons who think the Khalis and Cenas are greater than Rocks and Austins. Cole has been apart of WWE for many years now, and hes still one of the best commentators. He deserves respect.
The main reason why so many people hate him now is because he says the word vintage too much. Which is a REALLY crappy reason to hate on him.

I never thought I'd look forward to watching SmackDown as much as I do now because it's the one WWE show Michael Cole doesn't do play by play on. Yes, I know he's being told to trash Bryan Danielson, but that doesn't excuse the fact he's been around thirteen years and is still so AWFUL.
