Well I'm of the opinion that ANYTHING is good when it's deep fried. Within reason, of course.

Olive oil at high heat changes dynamics and turns into a BAD FAT... Better to use Grapeseed oil... However, DO REALIZE that cooking the Dandelions kills the living enzymes... Therefore, for the most part you're just enjoying a tasty treat and not getting much medicinal benefit from the Dandelion... :o)

I am eating deep fried dandelion flowers as I write this....! ;-)

They are delicious, indeed !! I did not expect that. Now that I know this recipe, it saddens me they are only available in spring and summer. I am going to shock my friend when I serve them dandelion flowers. Deep fried, with a glass of wine !!!;-)

I urge people to try the dandelion fritters. I have eaten them for a long time. Sometimes they have a morel mushroom taste to them. Dandelions are so healthy. A good healhy FREE vegetable. Thank you for posting this video! :)

the corn meal, the strainer, great additions to how I've done it.

I actually ate too many dandelion flowers in my yard and had to ask neighbours if I could pick theirs. Not a bad move.
