I don't think it's going to be the same. Ofcourse we want most of it to be the same as l4d1, since it's left 4 dead. I don't want an entirely new zombie game in every way. I just want more left 4 dead, and that's exactly what l4d2 is, and even more. More of what was missing from the first game, and new locations. Perfect!

I think that I might buy this game! I know I don't have Left 4 Dead but I did rent it about 3 times! (Twice from Movie Gallery, 5 days each. Once for Gamefly, kept it for about a month). Now along with a BUNCH of other games, I'm gonna need to get Left 4 Dead 2!

I liked the first Left 4 Dead, but this is just the same game with new guns! Sure its a bit more polished, but I dont want to buy the a sequal to a game when the only new thing about it is that the graphics are better, more guns, and different people.

I wont play it unless I just borrow it from a friend for the achievments or whatever.

I guess I look at it differently. I personally am glad to pay for map pack's additional features for a game and in this case its a prty major adaptation of the original l4d and fans of the 1st game will gladly line up to pay the 60$ Of course they are still planning to do map/feature releases for l4d in fact one any time now is suppose to be landing

I don't know, this game doesn't seem like it has the same feeling as L4D 1, they took out alot of the old Mechanics that the fist one had. Its going to be hard to beat the game this time I like challenges but its not going to be the same.(THIS IS MY OPINION!!!)

Oh its still very much so the same feel as the original its just a lot more polished in general. It feels and plays a lot like the 1st game.

And to kill the argument below Valve has said it before the PS3 is a waste of time in there opinion and therefore havent released it on PS3 and dont plan on it. They did say however that someone could port it for the ps3 but they wanted nothing to do with that. If anyone ports it it would prb be a team at EA.

I have both consoles in fact i have 2 ps3's in the home and i dont use either of them unless I have a tournament going on the site for cod waw zombies or if im watching an occasional bluray movie. Xbox has HD streaming no need for discs. Im getting LBP GOTY edition here soon and plan on playing that tho. I wasnt impressed with MAG @ PAX 09 at all and it was getting very little attention at the event... Not a good sign.
