  • Can afford college but not instruments? J/K Nicely Done!

  • Excellent! I love this song and this rendition is great. During the chorus I could feel my soul lifting. God will be there everystep of the way down life's road.

  • i love your sound guys!

  • Im sorry I heard a young 8 year old philipino girl sing this and she brought me to tears. I have been looking for that feeling for years now and have been sadly disappointed. Good job guys though

  • Amazing!

  • Huh. Looks like three people went into convulsions due to awesomeness of this video and hit the dislike button by mistake. I hope they are feeling better now.

  • @adkii07 Peter Hollens isn't in this video. He was the co-founder of the group back in '99 and he joined them for The Sing Off but that's Jonah Seitz singing the lead in this version.

  • @Krati - Kyrie Eleison (the title of this song) means "Lord, have mercy" which is basically a shortened prayer response along the lines of the Parable of The Publican in Luke 18:9-14 - "God, have mercy on me, a sinner."

They are singing "Kyrie Eleison" and NOT "carry a laser" although Kyrie Eleison does sound a a little bit the same. Very different meaning, though.

  • @Katprint You are right my friend.I would like to tell just that this prayer is Greek...

  • This is beautiful great job

  • Mr MIster just released a new album on their site LittleDumeRecordings

  • yea it was pretty awesome

  • DO THIS ON THE SING-OFF SHOW.

  • @churdle76 They did.

  • @xgoldyxo7 hmmm...I should probably watch more than just the first two episodes then. haha

  • @churdle76 They did. :)

  • 'Carry A Laser' down the road that I must travel.. 'Carry A Laser' in the darkness of the night..

  • That soloist is AMAZING!!! Being able to hold those first few notes is a feat of talent, that is for sure. OTR is one of my faves. Bravo!!!!

  • you people must all be tone deaf

  • @PHILLIPSUTRA Either that, or you are the only one here being tone deaf...

  • Cool!!! Good job people.

  • The choreography supports the strength of this piece so well, especially at 1:58 and 2:58. Always fab when a new version of an overplayed song makes one want to hear this version again and again. Tight arrangement.

  • Amaizing rendition!

  • kyrie elehson is a greek phrase..it means god give us mercy!!!

  • Amazing!

  • One of my favorite songs... well done guys!

  • so i guess i'm the only one who can hear how flat the lead vocal is

  • @PHILLIPSUTRA no, you're not! that's the only thing i could hear.

    ouch, dude. loll

  • @PHILLIPSUTRA don't worry, you're not

  • @PHILLIPSUTRA

I'm with you here. Great concept, well exectuted overall but something is OFF here.

  • Love love love the arrangement! The three 'posts' of the voices were impressive!

  • cool arrangement!

  • Mr. Mister...haha...2 hit wonders...but still good!

  • Haha from 2:08 take these broken wings!

    Nice man!

  • Well.

    I like it.

  • wow

  • the front singer ..... wow he's GOOD !!!!

  • you rockkkk....awesome

  • HAHAHAHA we were so stiff for this show!

  • excelenteeeeeeeee

  • amazing nice greet from germany

  • this was real good!!!

  • Takes me back to the 80's as well. When the world shifted to the right, economies became strong, and the Soviet Union fell.......damn republicans

  • What do you mean? The Republicans were the ones responsible for all that good stuff. Y'know, Reagan, congress, and the white house staff suce as hell werent democrats back then.

  • Great! and at UC Berkeley. wow

I'm surprised the loving tolerant Ones did not crucify you.

mmm. at least in this instance it's good that some of the "best" and "brightest" can not read Greek (or Latin) or have real grasp of the history of Western Civilization. They must not listen to A Cappella music either.

Kyrie Elesion, Christe Elesion, Kyrie Elesion

  • it's kyrie eleison*

we can read latin (and greek)

    and spell it too!

  • Admittedly, at the beginning, the soloist was a smidgen off-tune, but he sounded almost identical to the lead singer in the original. And the arrangement, harmonies and...well...just everything were quite awesome here. I'm very impressed. This really takes me back to '86 -- only it's better!

  • Great job! Great sound, great harmonies.

  • it's like the backstreet boys version of Kyrie

  • Very good!

  • UNREAL! So well done.

  • AMAZING!!! I LOVE IT!!!

  • They got better after the first bit. The soloist was a little bit off-tune until then.

Or it could just be the recording--who knows?

  • Very Very Awesome..........Amazing.

  • kick ass, guys

  • best otr has ever sounded live

  • this is really great! mark schultz would approve!
