  • viva Tony!

  • HOW did Tony end up looking like a drag queen at the end???

  • @southernbrookltngal yes, very very very (...) sexy 8)^^

  • love this guy, so sexy!! RIP

  • LAAAME! i wanted them to guess. :l haha

  • He was so beutiful! ♥ I'm a big Tony Curtis fan!!! :)

  • tony curtis was very nice! but i am come from germany and can't good english! i am not understand was they say^^ =(.

  • @bestsuperlady98 Thats right! Ja genau, ich komme auch aus Germany!! :)

  • I love that whenever I watch these clips, they always address each other "Mr suchandsuch" or "Sir" or "Ma-am". So well spoken and polite. I was born in the wrong decade.

  • why would it have been unfair? it doesn't look like they're playing for any money?

  • Tony and Janet are so cute together!

  • "Pardon me, sir?" you'd never hear that kind of language on television these days

  • <33333 tony curtis

  • Tony was so beautiful :)

  • Oh my...What a man!!

  • what year was this?

  • hahaha wouldn't janet have known that he was going to be on this show? lol

  • @thalialuvmx No, because Steve Allens didn't know that his wife was going to be the mystery guest the day after they wed.

  • lol, i like how he is ESPECIALLY nice to the blonde woman, and just sorta pleasant with the brunette xD

  • @slayerrules114 The blonde woman is his wife Janet Leigh.

  • @slayerrules114 Its because the 'blonde' is his fiance! lol

  • wonder what his love affair with things circus was all about.

  • Haha from the goodness of his heart Tony dropped in....to plug his latest film :D What a star lol RIP

  • tony curtis was without doubt the most beautiful man in hollywood

  • Oh my, so ethical not playing because of the tidbit in the newspaper. In reality, the panelists could narrow down the possibilities based on who was in town doing a play or plugging a film. Sad to see the last few stars of my childhood go...

  • R.I.P. Bernard Schwartz.

  • RIP Tony Curtis

  • So handsome and so sweet and polite!

  • RIP Tony. Fab actor!

  • Aloha Mr. Curtis. I had the pleasure of meeting Janet Leigh and Tony Curtis on a couple of occasions. They were both class acts.

  • THIS VIDEO IS BROUGHT TO YOU BY REMINGTON ELECTRIC SHAVERS

  • Aside from the fluff he played in his youth-Tony was actually a great dramatic actor. "The Sweet Smell of Success" was a great film

  • Tom Hanks is the Tony Curtis of these days, if you look carefully they have the same eyes the same smile even the same voice.. RIP Tony, you were the best, always reminded me of my dad..

  • RIP Tony Curtis

  • Descanse en Paz.

  • Wonderful clip from a great show! Very sad today at the news of his death. Bernie Schwartz could act, he wasn't just a pretty face: THE DEFIANT ONES, TRAPEZE, SWEET SMELL OF SUCCESS, SOME LIKE IT HOT, THE BOSTON STRANGLER, HOUDINI. He could do it all--comedy and drama. I even loved him in his silly 60s comedies. RIP, Bernie.

  • RIP TONY CURTIS x

  • I cried out loud when I heard Tony died on the news today. We will all really miss you Mr. Curtis

  • RIP Mr Curtis - you did well

  • everyone liked his style and looks and his own invention-the tony curtis haircut--even a visit to the flintstones--as stony curtis

  • Rest in peace fellow, you were one of a kind and you'll for ever be remembered due to your wonderful movies!!!

  • The most handsome actors...ONLY TONY CURTIS!!!

  • I wonder what tricks they had planned...

  • i wish i lived in that time

  • @Amaya524

Somtimes I get that feeling too,but then I remeber that God has a WONDERFUL plan for my life, and I just have to surender to that.If He had wanted me to be alive back then,I would have been, but my purpose is for this ime and place.Maybe so people like us who love the good ol days have someone to stick together with:)

    God Bless,

    -Miss De Jian

  • Tony is as gorgeous today. Sigh!

  • tony one of the last of old hollywood that is left

  • @92af You are kidding right ? Curtis is a legend, he is one of the best ever. Some like it hot was his best performance.

  • he is amazing and so funny in the Great Race and Operation Peticoat! he's also really funny with Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis! great talent!

  • wow........

  • He has crossed more than six bridges, a wonderful career in the motion picture industry.

  • What year is this anyway? He looks like a teenager.

  • @LazlosPlane Six Bridges to Cross came out in 1955, which would make Tony 30. He looked really young!

  • Jamie says that people sometimes kid her by calling her Jamie Schwartz, but she says it doens't bother her because it is her real name. It is suprising that Tony has never acknowleged it since he is proud of his family's hertiage.

  • Tony Curtis - prince of the Golden Age.

Toni Curtis was fantastically beautiful man...

  • raynnonme

    You have a book?

    The book did not read.

  • @Ari721

    the most handsome actor

  • I forgot that Tony is not very tall. No matter--obviously!

  • Yes & it is nice to see Jamie Leigh Curtis' Mommy & Daddy in one TV appearance - you Go boy !

  • Yes, with a beauty such as Janet, unless she was withholding sex, he had NO excuse to cheat.

And no, not ALL men sleep around when given the opportunity.

    Look at Jimmy Stewart.

  • Hi ampicob and katty LOVE the quick back and forths (katty is funnier!) ampicob what does "I am belive" mean?! LOL I will now grammar police you: I DO believe you mean I DO believe. LOLOLOLOL

  • Wow, he looks good here.

  • they were so polite back then

  • @ballerinaluver That's the way we were brought up.

  • @ballerinaluver thats because there were no faggots niggers kikes hippies beaners puerto ricans gingers fat fucks rag heads ping laus and skanky hoes to piss them off.

    lol.

  • @EffLabels also your dad did.

  • @nerdflanders8710 No bud, I think YOU sucked his. Not that there's anything wrong with it-I hope you swallowed ;)

  • @EffLabels there IS something wrong with it .

  • @EffLabels you can jump on shady's dick

  • @nerdflanders8710 Are you a nigger or a wanna-be nigger? 'Shady'? LOL Please tell me you're 12.

  • After reading his book, I am believe that what I felt about him all along was correct: That he was an arrogant, pompus ass who was interested in only promoting his career and scoring with as many beautiful female stars as possible. He was NOT a nice person, but had some talent....

  • Isn't that all men?

  • Yes, his autobiography, "modestly" entitled "American Prince: A Memoir" and his interviews don't show a pleasant person. He was good looking and very talented, but no gentleman. Often talking bad about others and always bragging about the girls he slept with and about how great he was. Not all that's beautiful on the outside is the same on the inside. And outside beauty fades...

  • I love the way he says hello to his wife by handling her hand:cute!

  • He's so handsome. He has beautiful eyes.

  • i saw him las saturday :3 said i was beautifull and kissed my cheek :P

  • :D lucky you!!

I would love to meet him! :D

  • My God, Tony was such a stunning man. Janet was so lucky to score him. I always wondered what he saw in her. Marilyn and him would of looked much better together

  • personally speaking, katypigg58, i'd crawl over broken glass to stick matches in janet leigh's shit, but to each their own! cheers

  • Not would of, but "would have looked"! Get your grammar straight. You apparently use the expression because of what you hear and not what you know to be gramatacally correct

  • yes sir!

  • Doesn't seem like any of the panelists knew Tony was the mystery guest. Probably didn't read the midwest papers.

  • TONY CURTISS!

  • That was really odd. So the panel all knew who it was, but they were going to pretend that they didn't (that is, if Daly didn't say anything)?

  • The same thing happened with Van Johnson when he was the mystery guest on another episode. Why would newspapers want to ruin a show by spilling the beans?

  • I see this word "luscious" all over the commentaries nowadays... what's the difference between luscious and younger?

  • well, for me the word "luscious" implies really good looks, sexiness, and talent. It's old time slang where I live.

  • Janet Leigh and Tony Curtis in their early luscious periods, together. I hope the audience was thrilled. I know I was. Thanx.

  • What a disappointment. The producers or talent bookers should've had back-up guests just in case something like this were to happen.

  • Hard to have a back up in the days of live TV, and Curtis probably made them aware of the problem a few minutes before. Daly was the back up in case a mystery guest did not show up at all -- but fortunately that never happened in 17 years.

  • Well that was quick
