awesome! idk if its the cam quality tho, but sometimes ur movements seem very choppy and robotic and it seems to give the video a kind of stop-motion-sped-up effect. ive seen that in jojo mayer and dave lombardos vids, its funny when it happens,haha

I take it back. You are one of the better drummers doing covers that I've seen on utube. You don't look bored. But I would rather see you take some liberties with the original drum part and putting some of yourself into these songs than just playing them note for note. You are not Tong -- why try to play exactly like him?

thats jus how he drums, regardless if it looks like he's ''tryings to be exactly like like Matt'' maybe he jus uses the same technique. and doing songs note for note, is pretty hard

when i play i find it easier to add in my own stuff.

Well see it's a catch-22 on that point. If he plays it accurately like Matt, then he'd have comments like yours condescending towards him. If he plays it loosely and 'puts himself into the songs' then others will make comments about how it's not 100% like the album version. It's just a case of what people he wants to deal with.

good stuff mate, the first thing i noticed about bloc party was that they have areally innovative drummer, there's definetely a dnb influence there aswell, and some kick arse syncopation, and its such an active part of the song rather than being confined to a backing track. Love it
