Some did yes, the ford engines were not the best around in those days, but still more reliable thatn the ECU controlled crap that most tractors use these days.

Not great for around the yard my john deere 2130 can turn on a sixpence even without splitting the brake pedal
You don't buy a County to work in tight areas!
