  • In the 60's many TV stations in the eastern U.S. had a similar deal where the weather guy dressed up as an Atlantic gas station attendant .. broadcasting weather was a much different deal back then. But, when we get down to it -- all we want to know if if we need an umbrealla, a jacket or sunblock

  • Saw this on Facebook. He taught Broadcast Performance at Towson University, many years ago. He was very business like. If you were late to his class, he subtracted a grade. No negotiations.

  • In those days, there was no such thing Doppler Radar or a Storm Tracker like there is today. And weathermen today are called meterologists.
