  • I think people just have to be tolerant. Of loud, obnoxious people, and otherwise. I know, it can seem to ruin a concert experience, but you know what's even worse? When an artist points it out (saying something like, "This is really disrespectful towards us" - or whatever) because then it's this big awkward thing, and everyone there is afraid to utter a word.

I think Dave would prefer tolerance of it all. Just my guess, but after all these years, I think he just wants everyone to get along=)

  • I think the person filming this was in the audience...It's probably just like any other concert, just not professionally filmed.

  • i know...i've been watching a lot of live dave matthews videos and there are morons just screaming over the music (trying to figure out why...out of selfishness, for attention, drunkenness??) i don't know how dave feels about people screaming over his music, but i would personally be like....'seriously people, i'm creating art here'. my own personal take is that i would be dead quiet for most of his set and then give him a 10 minute standing ovation after he was done.

  • I'm surprised this crowd is not in a dead hush during a song like this. It's just so disrespectful to the artist to be sharing his music and a song so deep when no one seems to be listening!

  • I saw this song live once in 05 but butch was on the keys then.

  • I was there. I was so pissed that everyone was talking.

  • OMG I would want to KILL everybody there chattering like fucking dipshits!

STFU and listen the THE BAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I was at this show, towards the end they sort have merged into two step, it was great

  • OMG. this is awesome. The only other time I saw him do this was Live at Radio City Music Hall with Tim Reynolds. What was the crowd's reaction??

  • everyone went craaaazy! he took off his guitar and went "ok im gonna do something foolish now" and sat down at the piano and played. it was amazing. i have no other words for this concert. amazing.
