I think people just have to be tolerant. Of loud, obnoxious people, and otherwise. I know, it can seem to ruin a concert experience, but you know what's even worse? When an artist points it out (saying something like, "This is really disrespectful towards us" - or whatever) because then it's this big awkward thing, and everyone there is afraid to utter a word.
I think Dave would prefer tolerance of it all. Just my guess, but after all these years, I think he just wants everyone to get along=)
i know...i've been watching a lot of live dave matthews videos and there are morons just screaming over the music (trying to figure out why...out of selfishness, for attention, drunkenness??) i don't know how dave feels about people screaming over his music, but i would personally be like....'seriously people, i'm creating art here'. my own personal take is that i would be dead quiet for most of his set and then give him a 10 minute standing ovation after he was done.
I'm surprised this crowd is not in a dead hush during a song like this. It's just so disrespectful to the artist to be sharing his music and a song so deep when no one seems to be listening!
everyone went craaaazy! he took off his guitar and went "ok im gonna do something foolish now" and sat down at the piano and played. it was amazing. i have no other words for this concert. amazing.

I think the person filming this was in the audience...It's probably just like any other concert, just not professionally filmed.
