Great trio underrated eeknay13 is on to something! The lighting guy phoned it in, it looked like a rescue scene and I was waiting for a klaxon or a whoopwhoop! Please stop treading each other over music, various tastes in all styles make music what it is ! Artistic expression in all forms makes this barely tolerable revolving ball we are all renting (yes renting) makes life so much more palatable! If you re not a fan go elsewhere!
This is not hair metal you ass,!! and where is Nirvana now...
I like a lot of music from 50's up to now including Nirvana but if it makes you feel better to put others down then have it... LMFAO the comments and fighting on here is too damn funny... what a DICK!!!!!
@jezmez68 Nirvana didnt just kill metal it killed all things rock, the industry now suffers for the sorry investment of the death nail and at one point millions of ppl in america loved music and supported local bands, now the local talent pool is weak and my feewings arent hurt cuz grunge never was huge over seas. Long live rock and roll!!!!
@hollandrocksls Sooo all those fruity 80's hair metal bands didn't ruin it for Zeppelin fans? Ummmm....yeah they did. Nirvana brought music back to the people, for a very short time. Enjoy your cherry pie fruitcake.
I grew up on LI with Zebra....Seeing them @ Sundance in Bayshore when I was 10 rocked! Another 2 years and music SUCKED!!!!!!! Then the gorgeous 90's made it right again...for another 2 years.
Whenever I hear Zebra I get cool memories of being a teen in the NYC area in the early 80's...........Esp the radio commercials for the rock club L'amour. (pronounced Lamorz LOL)
This band was so underrated it makes you think that all critics of the 80 were smoking crack at that time. For me Zebra has to be in the top 100 bands of all times.
The song is lyrically, vocally, musically just fat back betty black great!!!!! And ya have to respect how hard he's working not only to hit those high notes, but to sing in the stratosphere for minutes at a time. Any singer knows - you pay a heavy price to do that as a man and especially at his age.
Randy Jackson is the best whole musician ever. This album was the best of the best of eighties metal. I'm learning Who's behind the Door right now - It is the most brilliantly written genius of a song ever on the face of the planet. All new rock/music, in general, ever since sh1thead G&R and Nirvana ruined the face of the music industry, sucks sh1thole...Nothing but a bunch of untalented, noisy, raspy, can't play the guitar or sing sh1tass wannabemusic.
@lorettakeane That's BS dude I'm sorry. defiantely seen pop/rock musicianship and music devolve in the last couple of decades. Change isn't always for the better. There has and will be periods in art and music that stand above others
Wow...Up until last week when my buddy let me borrow the "Zebra" CD , I havent heard this stuff since high school '84... I forgot what such a great album this was... Now I'm really gettin' back into it! Gotta love the 'Tube to be able to see this once again...Getting into the old Zappa vids too!!
My Heart pumps like hell everytime I hear ZEBRA. Started my drumming years learning this stuff. Happy to see Guy pumping the drums as hard and beautiful as if nothing happens to his health!!! God Bless them Always. Dale duro Guy!!!
I can remember mixing monitors for Zebra in the 80's. Those were the days. If they had Ace at the house console Randy would have sounded the same as then. Great band, great people.
what a great song...great memories

Truly an underrated band. Too bad their album sales didn't skyrocket in the 80's they could have been as big as Rush & Dire Straights!
