@DarkBlazeLeggendaxu Yeah, I agree. When I made this, my inexperience coupled with Garageband's limitations inhibited the intensity I had in mind for the latter portion of the song. The intro was my favorite part. If I do a Ridley mix again, it will be bombastic.
Contrary to what a whole bunch of the comments are saying, I actually really like this mix for Ridley. Sure, he's a badass dragon that's vicious and angry, but, if you remember form the Metroid Manga, he's also quite intelligent. This song makes me think that Ridley's having an internal battle with himself over all of the terrible things he's done and he's being haunted by all of those memories. That's why it has that more creepy and soft feel, like a bad dream.
@KrystalPaigeSky Intelligent as he is he is also a blood thirsty monster, as shown by when he leads a sapce pirate raid on the K-L station he says "have fun", or something along those lines. Leading to the the death of samus's parents and everyone else on the station
I feel like this is fitting for a scene in which you see Ridley flying around in the distance, or for the last few rooms leading up to a major fight with him. I, like most people, don't really see this as appropriate for the actual boss fight, but it is important to have intro themes as well, and this works very well in that regard.
@Balyr I'd use this for a montage as opposed to an actual boss fight, personally. I've always wanted to, and am going to make a very appropriate boss remix of this theme when I become capable enough to do it. I promise. :)

I see your point. I like the notes, but it doesn't convey the title, 'Winged Warmaker'. Ridley was this colossal dragon. It shakes the screen when it lands. The rising notes also lack the flare of the brass in the original. I guess what I'm saying it lacks really is the tension. I think if you could take these notes, but get the tension back in it, you'd really have something fantastic.

But on a more serious note, I think this sounds pretty ominous. The prelude would be perfect as you are on your way to Ridley, and then once he appears, this theme accompanies him and you know he's about to kick some...well you know.
@razanak7 Oh it's absolutely fine with me. I just wish I could get my hands on some more professional mixing software so that I could REALLY blow minds (i.e. Fruityloops, FL Studio) but I still enjoy hearing what's possible with whatever meager tools are on hand. Are you considering Metroid remixes too? :D

@DarkMegaXXL metroid Other M looks AWESOME. but, watching the trailers, its missing sumthing. A good example: the alien bosses. No offense to metroid fans (including myself) but those aliens look like cretures taken from Spore. They dont look like the bosses in Other Metroid games: menacing, otherwordly, and most of all, creepy. if nintendo wants metroid other m to be as good as the others, i suggest they get more original; if they dont, well, stick with the purple tentacled creep, idc :(
I love it, and I don't think I'm even hearing the whole thing (my right speaker is dead). Once the DL is up I'll see if converting it to mono will let me hear the whole thing.
Even with what I hear now, I think this song is a prime target for more awesome mixes. That being said, if it's alright with you, I would like to try that.
