  • i love it when some one puts the comment any one can throw paint on canvas. Yea but do you how to blend color balance color do you even know what a primary color is? Any way love the motion you gave this painting.

  • this is how art should be. individual, vital and perfectly unpredictable :-) i really like it

  • magic @ 2:09

  • ??

  • what was the first thing u put in the painting in the large container?

  • what was the first thing u put in the painting in the large container?

  • Nicely balanced. Do you use any type of medium with your paint? What brand of acrylics do you use? By the way, don't listen to negative people, k?

  • You are brilliant, your art is so beautiful. And watching your process is beautiful too :)

  • You do that with your bare hands? Aren't you worried about getting cancer or something?

  • @LiliFromHali should I be? Now you have me worried.

  • @sethdarnall Some acrylic paints have dangerous chemicals in them, they even have warnings on the labels about it. I wouldn't be handling that unprotected if I were you.

  • @sethdarnall You should make sure you're in a well ventilated area, and put some gloves on just to be safe.

  • i love it <3 i want someone to teach me how to paint

  • What is that electric sound that occurs every so often? Is it a hairdryer?

  • what is the name of this song?

  • I think anyone can keep throwing paint on a canvas for who knows how many hours and have it look as good as yours

  • @gary8630 Maybe, give it a shot.

  • @sethdarnall It's true, we all have the ability to create! but everyone prefers a different process. and we all have different thoughts and emotions to release as we create. But even to "throwing paint around" there is a process. it's easy to mess up even with this kind of method! thanks for the video seth!

  • @ChristineBriana I was typing something similar when I saw your comments. Exactly what I was typing. ;)

  • @sethdarnall LMFAO

  • yeah but could just anyone look this cute hes a jonny depp

  • whatever they say seth, you look hot to me! hehe

  • @caligiuridesign I said its a mess. Your not telling me anything I don't know and your not articulating yourself. Listen, I've seen your posts, none positive, on many other artists walls. Your entitled to your opinion, but try to formulate it beyond mild, rambling criticism. In your "20 successful years as an artist" your still hung up on words and "process". Process is meaningless to anyone outside of the Artist. I would take you more seriously if I knew you weren't a troll.

  • it would be great to see some of @caligiuridesign work. would love to see their process.

  • @VertigoInABox As would I. I would like this person to validate themselves and their prestigious career. I don't want to come across as someone who can't take criticism, I'm not that guy. It's just if someone wants a dialogue, come prepared. I looked up their history of comments and obviously this person is into attacking artists. Not one positive comment.

  • @caligiuridesign The process belongs to me and is devoid of technique. I think the process is rather interesting, but the technique is stranded somewhere in something that doesn't exist. But what is technique anyway when what you are trying to accomplish is simply a catharsis? My silly video captures me struggling to find an end. It isn't pretty. I take your criticism as you telling me: "this is a mess". Damn Right! A big hot mess.

  • Well... from an 20 years Artist painter career I think that your work have a great beggining, but you lost the way after that. Just to put many layers of material over a canvas not mind you are creating a piece of art. If not I can not undarstan why you were hiden the first moments of your work,. It i just an opinion, go ahead with your work and good luck.

  • @caligiuridesign I never made any proclamation of my paintings being art because of how many layers of paint I applied to this particular painting. My paintings are a process and some are less of a struggle to find. To tell me I lost my way is ridiculous, whatever path I take is my way. I define the path. You may not like the painting, but that is incidental. The second half of your opinion I do not understand. Thanks for your opinion.

  • the best, the fist 2 minutes of the video, after that, forgetable.

  • @caligiuridesign It does run a little long I suppose.

  • COOL STUFF!

  • cool idea doing the time lapse thing. , didn't know you painted with your fingers either..haha. i like how you totally changed ideas and washed the pallette clean in the middle and then went a totally different direction....

  • Yeah, I go through a lot of paint that way.

  • Very nice painting demo! Keep up the good work!

  • Beautiful. Btw, what is the music playing in the background?

  • Thanks! The music is by Kurt Vile off his album "Childish Prodigy". Check it out on itunes. Great, Great album. Hope he doesn't mind me using it.

  • awesome seth
