Oh yes, knights are my favourite class too. Especially Wolf of Shadow Dragon (though he originally isnt a knight, but if you change him to one, he is a monster)

@kotzebrecher If you change Sedgar into a General and give him Gradivus and the Starsphere, he can wreck thorugh anything. An Armorslayer will only deal about 5 if the RNG goddess smiles upon you. Wolf makes a good hero.

@Succaxe Well, Sedgar is almost as strong as Wolf (at least in my games) but Wolf is stronger. Anyways, the two of them grind through every enemy force. With Iron weapons^^

shinnon is so bad ass espaicily as a dead eye, in radiant dawn i always loved the crit where he jumps spins then shoots down hitting them right between the eyes

Gatrie is basically a swordmaster in a general's body! He's got so much speed for a knight! Next to Ardin from fe4, Gatrie's totally my favorite. I suggest using him in any playthrough but Brom and Taruneo(think it's spelt right) are really great too. I just like Blue Knight's personality.

Hey Slim about your pronunciation problem, I say pronounce how you want to because, after all,this was a Japanese game that, when translated, could be pronounced several ways in English but one way in Japanese. In short, pronounce how you want to. I hope it makes sense.

I've followed Boltage Mcgammer's LP's of Fire Emblem, and I have to say, so far, your vids are pretty good, about as good as his..although in his vids he tries to actually speak for the characters like you have only a few times..but I DO respect how you are explaining everything, seeing as this is the first few vids of a large tactical game. So thanks, since alot of people can become confused by those numbers and equasions on how to dmg..and I am looking forward to more of the LP's...

Myself, I never did like Shinon. I always trained Rolf up for I always raise the weaker units and it pays off in the late chapters of the game.

That, and Shinon is just a jerk I think. There were times that I wanted to just let him die in game.

Shinon > Rolf. Rolf is to much of a hassle to train on hard or medium and even though Shinon is subpar when you get him back but he has crazy stat growths.

When I beat the game i used Rolf first time beating it and Shinion second time beating it there stats depend on one thing and that is how much the RNG (Random Number Generator) like you. Yes Rolf is better but if The RNG is mean to you his level and class ups may be very bad

shinon and gatrie look pretty strong so this mercinaries army must have more people like that right? Why dont they just do the missions with all the super strong characters? well im a little new so i don't know much about fire emblem so maybe there is something later in the game that will explain it to me.

Well, mercenary groups tend to be very small (that's usually the norm anyways) and they can have more than one job offer or request at one time. After all, if you remember in Chapter 1's introduction dialogue, Greil mentioned there being 2 other jobs that he, Shinon, and Gatrie would finish up while Titania would take the other members. So, I guess that may explain that part of your question. I'll probably explain more later on in the LP.

Speaking of pronunciations, I always pronounced Rhys' name Reese, as in Reese's peanut butter cups. But it's a matter of preference I suppose since they never say his name out loud.

Just for future reference (not sure if you already filmed ahead or not), but I think that Rolf is actually a better investment than Shinon. Plus, you are able to use Rolf in more later chapters. Nevertheless, I hope that you can save the poor coastal village from those pirates. It would be a shame to see more villages burned down to the ground.

Rolf is without a doubt a better unit than Shinon. Just bring Rolf up to Lvl 1 sniper by the time the level where you get Shinon back and compare their stats...no contest. Then again, that's my own opinon. Take it for what it's worth.
